Iesha
Another Bad Creation Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Iesha, Iesha so glad to meetcha
See you in the schoolyard strollin' wit your techa
The lil skirt you played was really fly
She turned around and she winked her eye so I
Stepped to her like I knew her the Biv is cool but Romell is cooler
The bell rang 'cause I started to talk yet the class is not there no more

(Yo Red, where'd you meet her?)

At the playground, ya know
That's where I saw this cutie
This girl was swingin' and she looked so fly
On the monkey bars, we climbed up to the top and
She touched my hand that's when I fell in love

You are the girl that I neva had
And I want to get to know you bettah
Iesha
You know I want you so bad
And there's nothing anyone can do
To keep me away from you

Yo Dallas man these five young boys out of Atlanta GA are a real adventure
They kinda like remind me of me and my boys New Edition, know what I'm sayin
So all you people out there ridin' in your cars listenin to the radio station
Or coolin' back in the living room watchin this here video, ay yo peep the 2nd verse

We played Nintendo
This was her very first date
I didn't want to make it seem to fly
We ate cereal
She couldn't stay out at late
Her mother told her to be home at nine

(Ronnie Bobby Ricky and Mike)
Chris, Mark, Red, Da, Ro
Chris, Mark, Red, Da, Ro

Yo Ro you might sound to sure so wutcha gonna do?
I dunno Da, I only got one more rap and I'm gonna see what happens

Threw down my books went up to the door
Pressed the bell what was in store?
Iesha came out with a smile (oh no)
She ain't worth the while
So I passed her a lolli pop and a letter
Told her so let's keep this a secret
No remember Iesha, only you can keep this, peace

Word. I often thank God that I caught the tail end of all of the good ole days. I think I was literally the last generation to…
-play outside; jump double dutch
-entire family came together and gathered around one tv
-no pressure from social media
-enjoyed meeting fun new people in chat rooms without danger
-went through high school wearing jeans and a T-shirt, no make up, no lashes, no weave
-actually dialed up my college homegirls on their dorm room phones
-was excited to get home at the end of the day and check my answering machine
-emails were casual. they were read and replied to one time, usually at the end of the day without pressure
-actually went to the library with my buddies, used real books, and studying wasn’t distracted by cell phones
- had to borrow albums from friends and kindly return them

I could go on.

I thank God!

@suspectplayerau6258

I named my first baby girl after this song on the 22/9/1997, she's been in heaven since 6/8/2014.

I just had a dream I was singing this song to her, and she couldn't stop smiling, I tried to play the song on my phone for her but had no signal in my dream, so woke to play it on my laptop!

It's been a while since she's visited me in my dreams, I can't wait to dream of her again.

@doreeb6314

So sorry, I’m glad you get good memories and see her in your dreams.
