From the simple idea of Change Blindness, our minds are not as they seem.
The phenomenon of change blindness shows that our perceptions are not as reliable as we believe.

An entire existence revolving around what we can't acknowledge.
Our lives are shaped by the things we refuse to see or accept.

A brain function we'll never admit as defeat,
We refuse to acknowledge the limitations of our cognitive abilities.

A constant determination to find truths
We are always driven to seek knowledge and understanding.

To find reason, to find comfort.
We seek rationality and security in our beliefs.

An unspoken religion in being the all-dominant
We have a subconscious desire to be in control and superior.

This is what we call a brain.
Our minds are complex, flawed, and yet fascinating.

This step will allow the universe to run it's course.
Accepting our limitations will allow us to relinquish control and let nature take its course.

We have a short ticket and a lot of it is in hiding
Our time on Earth is limited, and there is much that remains unknown to us.

So lets take in what we can for now.
We should enjoy and appreciate what we can in our brief existence.

Just like here on Earth(a notion we do comprehend)
Like our planet, there are many mysteries and complexities within the larger universe.

Hide what "others" can't understand.
There are concepts and truths that are beyond the comprehension of most people.

The universe is the biggest threat
The vast unknowns of the universe can be daunting and intimidating.

Overachiever that commands attention.
The universe is an impressive and captivating entity that demands our attention.

Brute force of hysterical reasoning's
Trying to understand and explain the universe can be overwhelming and emotionally charged.

There will always be a Marfa.
There will always be mysteries and unexplained phenomena that defy our understanding.

Close one eye.
Sometimes we must narrow our focus to better perceive the world around us.

Step to the side.
Occasionally we must shift our perspective to gain a new understanding.

As humans we could never be content with knowing all,
Our insatiable curiosity drives us to constantly seek new knowledge.

Yet we can't be content with the fact that our brains will never know.
At the same time, we struggle to accept our inherent limitations and ignorance.

A mental surgery
Our efforts to learn and understand can be likened to a painful, invasive process.

A never ending journey, a technological drawback.
The quest for knowledge is often hindered by our own limitations and the limitations of our tools.

Pushing us further from our natural minds.
Our attempts to understand the world can sometimes lead us away from our intuitive and instinctual ways of thinking.

Even things created by other humans should be
Human creations can provide valuable insights into the workings of our collective mind.

Considered in the experiment of an entire species understanding.
The study of human creations can inform our understanding of ourselves and our place in the world.

A magicians pure joy
The art of deception and illusion is a source of fascination and delight.

A mind bend for the common folk
Tricking and surprising people with illusions can be both entertaining and thought-provoking.

Follow the straight line
Our cognitive biases and tendencies can lead us to follow predictable patterns of thinking.

The power of illusion and misdirection can be breathtaking and humbling.

We will always be part of the great misdirect

We must be willing to challenge our assumptions and biases to gain a better understanding of reality.
