The Adhan, also known as the Islamic call to prayer, is a beautiful and powerful expression of faith. These lyrics by Yusuf Islam (formerly known as Cat Stevens) reflect the words spoken during the Adhan, with each line conveying a significant message.
The first four lines begin with the proclamation that Allah (God) is greatest. This phrase, "Allahu Akbar", is heard frequently during the Adhan and is a reminder of the greatness and superiority of Allah.
