Let It Rock
Bon Jovi Lyrics

Seven days too soon
For the ones who have to make up
What we break up of their rules
Well I saw Captain Kidd on Sunset
Tell his boys they're in command
While Chino danced a tango
With a broomstick in his hand
He said it's alright (alright) if you have a good time
It's alright (alright) if you want to cross that line
To break on through to the other side
Let it rock (let it rock) let it go (let it go)
You can't stop a fire burning out of control
Let it rock (let it rock) let it go (let it go)
With the night you're on the loose
You got to let it rock
(Oh oh oh)
(Oh oh oh)
We go down to the Broadway
Where everybody goes
To get on their rockin' horse
And blast that radio
Well I saw Roxie on the table
Her girlfriend down below
They'll give it to the king of swing
Before it's time to go
It's alright (alright) if you have a good time
It's alright (alright) if you want to cross that line
To break on through to the other side
Let it rock (let it rock) let it go (let it go)
You can't stop a fire burning out of control
Let it rock (let it rock) let it go (let it go)
You can't stop a fire burning out of control
Let it rock (let it rock) let it go (let it go)
With the night you're on the loose
Let it rock
Let it rock
Let it rock (let it rock) let it go (let it go)
You can't stop a fire burning out of control
Let it rock (let it rock) let it go (let it go)
With the night you're on the loose, everybody sing
Oh oh oh, yeah yeah '
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
"Let It Rock" is a song by Bon Jovi that talks about the need for people to break free from the monotony of life and enjoy the moments they have. The first verse sees the singer talking about how the weekend comes seven days too soon for many who have to work and make up for what people like him break up with the rules. This line suggests that there are societal expectations and pressures people are subjected to, and some people have to work harder to make up for those who do not follow the rules. The next verse finds the singer talking about seeing Captain Kidd on Sunset, telling his boys they're in command, while Chino dances a tango with a broomstick in his hand. This shows that even those who are thought to be in charge or important still have a playful and fun side to them. The chorus reiterates the importance of letting go and having a good time, telling people to break on through to the other side.
The second verse has the singer talking about how they go down to Broadway, where everybody goes to get on their rocking horse and blast the radio. This line suggests that everyone has their way of enjoying life and escaping the stresses of everyday life. The next line sees Roxie on the table, and her girlfriend down below, suggesting a sense of freedom and rebellion. The chorus is then repeated, with the singer emphasising that people need to let go and have a good time because you can't stop a fire burning out of control. The outro has everyone singing 'Oh oh oh, yeah yeah ' and repeating 'let it rock.'

I remember when I was in high-school and was really getting into classic rock, my dad got me this album, I was completely blown away when i heard the guitar solo. Till this day, this is still one of my favorite bon Jovi solos, Richie Sambora absolutely killed this song! 🤘🤘
@fernandosolis3026
It sucks that David Bryan doesn't get the credit he deserves. That keyboard intro is just legendary.
