В.О.М. XXIII Lyrics

Kanskje ligg det no'n I arman hennes no
E6, han må itj bli for sein
Kanskje kjenne no'n varmen hennes no
Kanskje ligg det no'n I arman hennes no
E6, han må itj bli for sein
Kanskje kjenne no'n varmen hennes no
Det e kuling over Saltfjellet
Men den legg sæ for ei stund
Kanskje ligg det no'n I arman hennes no
E6, han må itj bli for sein
Kanskje kjenne no'n varmen hennes no
The song "VI" by В.О.М. XXIII tells the story of a truck driver who is speeding along the E6 highway to reach Bodø before it's too late. He is tired after his last stop in Hamburg, but he knows he has to keep going. He takes a chance that the authorities are not active on this particular night and races through Østfold, determined to reach his destination. The dangers on the road don't stop him, and even a narrow road and highway construction don't slow him down.
The lyrics suggest that the driver has someone waiting for him in Bodø, someone he wants to be with. He hopes that this person is still waiting for him and that he can feel her warmth in his arms. As he drives over Saltfjellet and the wind dies down for a bit, he thinks about the possibility that someone might have helped her in his absence.
