Their sound meshes infectious Post-Punk guitar/bass melodies with Synthpop style keyboard layers, all rounded out by a drum machine and solemn vocals. The band has been very active in the Eastern European Post-Punk/Wave circuit, playing many gigs. Some of the bands that they have shared the stage with include Sierpien, ДК Посторонних, Ploho, Cold Comfort, gil'otina, Words and Actions, Nurnberg, Safety Dance and Холод.

Toska has two meanings in Russian. It means deep yearning and severe anguish. I was born in south east USA and moved to Russia. Some of my blood and heritage is from here. I love it here and I want my future here, but make no mistake it's not always easy here.I'd die for this country. This country has given me everything and taken everything from me at the same time. It's given me strength, it's taught me patience, but it's taken some of my sanity too. It's not sunshine and rainbows here...
