Before their official debut, they released four indies singles only available in Japan. They also sung the theme song for the Nintendo DS game "Densetsu no Stafi 4". ℃-ute's debut single "Sakura Chirari" (桜チラリ) was released February 21st 2007 and reached #5 on the Oricon weekly charts.

Umeda Erika (梅田えりか) graduated on the last day of their concert tour on October 25, 2009.
Arihara Kanna (有原栞菜, added in January 2006) left the group on July 9, 2009.
Murakami Megumi (村上愛) left the group on November 3, 2006.

Reading a translation of this song, I have to say, that I'm impressed. It's a breakup song, yes, but it's a very good breakup song (well, as great as a breakup song can be, of course). The spanish-influenced melody is great too, it adds value to the good lyrics of this. Airi's voice is really pretty, she hits those high notes very well. Maimi too is good, of course.
The choreography is very good, very energetic and well-timed with the song, I loved it. The outfits and hairstyles are really good (except Kanna's hairstyle, which looks a little weird on her), and even though some of them look very rock-influenced or something, which doesn't quite fit the melody, it doesn't look bad (after all, it would have been weirder to have the girls dressed in flamenco dresses or something like that). Chisato looks especially cool in here (and these are the types or hairstyles she needed when she was younger), like she really was feeling the vibe of the song.
The setting was kinda plain, though, with only that huge pretty sunset painting and whatever those white figures are supposed to be, it looked very empty. However, the lightning was as nice as to give the impression that actual sunshine was entering the place, and that makes up a little for the emptiness of the backround. Still, I think that if the painting was bigger, as to cover the whole wall, it would have looked better. But that's just an idea, I think it's pretty ok like this.
I have trouble to understand where are they supposed to be in the individual close-ups, but the lighting coming behind the girls looks great, the texture of the walls too, whatever they are... However, there were a bit too many Maimi close-ups where she was laying (and she was doing the exact same thing in all of them: just laying there looking at the camera with a sad face... it's a little boring).
Overall, this was a good MV, and a good song. I only wish they had given Erika some solo lines, her voice was really good and it would have fit this song... too bad they didn't. At least they could have given her Saki's "Ah" line (sound?), because her squeaky voice doesn't sound good doing that.
