Today Today Today...
Today Today Today...
Today Today Today...
I'm living this day
like it's no other day
Today Today Today...Today
The song "Today" by Angela Aki is about appreciating the beauty of everyday life despite its mundane nature. The opening lines of the song, "Today Today Today...Today," are repeated several times to emphasize the importance of living in the present moment. The singer believes that because life can be ordinary and repetitive, it allows for a certain comfort to exist. She suggests that true happiness can be found in the most ordinary things in life, and that even in the mundane, there is a possibility for miracles to happen.
The next lines talk about the struggle that we all face in our daily lives. Even though we are often tied up in our routine and become overwhelmed by our daily struggles, life has a way of creating miracles in our lives. The songwriter poses a rhetorical question on whether love can survive changes, but encourages people to stop asking such questions and live in the moment with their loved ones. She wishes to celebrate the present, to be with the people that she cherishes and to experience every moment with them. The song concludes with a reflection on our inevitable mortality and the importance of cherishing every day we have, living in the moment and celebrating every "today."
