The lyrics to "Guess who is back" by 倖田來未 talk about being guided to a distant place and breaking down the path of light and darkness. The singer expresses a feeling of falling down due to the whims of fate and mentions leaving behind a harmony with someone in the past. They are still haunted by the strong scent of that person. The chorus repeats the phrase "Guess who is back" and urges the listener to hold onto their wishes, show their tomorrow like a roulette, light up their hope, and navigate through a dark maze.
The song touches on themes of destiny, seeking meaning in the world, and the desire for something more. The singer emphasizes that simply waiting or screaming is not enough and that action is necessary to achieve one's desires. The lyrics convey a sense of determination and resilience in the face of the challenges presented by fate and the uncertainties of life.
