元々は福島出身の伊藤久男さんの歌ですが、この動画の女声も最高です。
島唄は世界に誇るべき特徴的な曲調ですが、この歌も沖縄の魅力をあますところなく表現しています。

沖縄返還した、翌年に、沖縄に行き、最初に、聞いた歌で、私の、青春時代の歌です。あれから、50年が経ちましたが、今でも、懐かしく、聞いています。

この曲はたしか沖縄海洋博のイメージソングだったような気がします。 沖縄では今でも若い２０代、３０代の女性から支持される歌のトップとなっています。 こんな素敵な歌に歌われる故郷を持っている沖縄の皆様をうらやましく思います。

仕事で2年弱沖縄にいました、沖縄民謡も色々聞きましたがこの曲が一番好きです 仲宗根美紀さんも歌っていたようですが、沖縄を去る時に、山本圭子さんの歌っているレコードを買って帰ってきました。今でもときどき思い出したように聞いています。多くの方に歌ってほしい曲です。ありがとうございました。

佐藤惣之助の、大正時代に作詞した歌で、レコードも戦前発売と思います。沖縄では戦前から歌われた記憶があります。。 惣之助は、大正時代に長期間沖縄に滞在し、その風物、文化の虜になったようです。、 「 静かさよ、空しさよ、この首里の都の空の色、誰に見せやう、眺めさせやう・・・・・」の歌碑が首里の一角にあります。 もっとも今とは、ずいぶん変わってると思いますが。蛇足、ハブの足跡です。
