Kiyoharu's musicial career started in the mid 1980's, as a vocalist for the independant bands SUS4 and GARNET. When GARNET folded in 1990, 黒夢 (Kuroyume) was born a year later. Their music style evolved and changed between the eight years they were together. In their early years, their style varied from goth rock, pop and rock with a New Romantic edge. Their music eventually evolved to a punk and rock style in the few years before their hiatus. In 1999, the band was officially suspended and Kiyoharu moved onto a new project.
SADS was formed in 1999 by Kiyoharu, after the suspension of Kuroyume. SADS also produced a punk rock sound similar to that of late-Kuroyume, but eventually moved onto more post-punk and glam rock inspired music. In 2003, SADS was suspended indefinitely when drummer Eiji Mitsuzono announced his departure from the band. In the same year, Kiyoharu began his solo career.
Kiyoharu's music took a turn from loud rock/punk songs to softer sounds while still remaining in the rock genre. He has released eight full length albums since 2004: poetry, MELLOW, 官能ブギー (Kannou BOOGIE), VINNYBEACH ~架空の海岸~ (~kakuu no kaigan~) and FOREVER LOVE. His sixth album, RHYTHMLESS & PERSPECTIVE, was released in the form of two mini-albums titled light~saw the light & shade~ and shade~saw the light & shade~. His most recent albums, both released in 2009, have been the Kuroyume cover album MEDLEY and the original album madrigal of decadence.
In 2008, Kiyoharu and HITOKI (bassist of Kuroyume) revived Kuroyume yet again for a final last concert which was held on January 29th 2009. The band officially dissolved on the same date.
As well as working as a musician, Kiyoharu manages a record label (started in 2003, with the formation of SADS) and works as a fashion designer. His blood type is A+ and his official website can be found here: http://www.kiyoharu.jp.

In 清春's song "Confusion," the lyrics involve vivid and abstract images that create a sense of confusion and ambiguity. The first verse talks about colors in the background of a painting, with contrasting ideas of bright primary colors and watercolor paints. The following lines mention TV shows and a surreal door that leads to a transcendent experience. The second verse emphasizes the absence of pain and the longing for someone missing.
The chorus repeats the phrases "this picture," "confusion," and "good-bye," adding to the fragmented nature of the song. The lyrics suggest that confusion comes from a detachment from reality and an obsession with images. This interpretation is reinforced by the phrase "this picture," which points to the idea that reality is constructed and mediated by visual representations. The overall mood of the song is a dreamlike state that blurs the line between the real and the imaginary.
