She is well known in Korea and abroard for her acting, singing and modelling skills. She has a B.F.A. from Namseoul University in Environmental Art & Design, but isn't putting this to use at the moment. Her voice has a very pure quality to it which has won her many fans.
For her first third albums, Park retained a sweet, innocent approach to her music. However, for her fourth onwards, she decided to partake in some of the production and writing, and created something scandalous. For her return into the music world, Park completely changed her image with Sung In Shik (Coming of Age Ceremony), which had such a shocking music video that it was banned from many Korean networks. In it, you can see Park's hand slip under a running sewing machine (she proceeds to apply the blood as lip-stick), and finally tear apart a gigantic toy bear.
This mature, deep and style filled theme continued with the lead music video for her fifth album, Man, in which she dressed as a man, ate maggots and died as her male counterpart killed her with a car bomb. Sadly, she did not continue on this style for her 6th album (In which the shocking music videos were replaced with a shocking amount of hair)
She made a comeback in 2009 with her 7th album.

The lyrics "보고 말았어 그 나의 sensor 울고 왜 이렇게 끌리냐고 나를 바라봤고 내 사람이 됐고 나의 sensor 좋아 울고" roughly translate to "I saw you and my sensor cried/Why am I attracted to you like this?/ You looked at me/ And you became my person/ My sensor likes to cry". The term "sensor" here refers to the singer's intuition or gut feeling in regards to their attraction to the person they are singing about. The repetition of "Beep Beep" throughout the song denotes a connection to technology and electronics, further emphasizing the theme of intuition.
The second verse continues the theme of the singer's intuition, describing how they have changed recently and how a new "Beep" has entered their consciousness. They express frustration and rejection towards a negative "Beep" that they cannot forgive or forget. Despite this, they still hold onto their intuition and attraction towards the person they desire, singing "Vow Vow Vow Vow Vow/ I will only look at one person/ I will become the woman of only one man/ A baby without comparison, oh my love".

What I love about this song is that they didn’t have to do blackface or try to be a black male or female to do this video, my baby did the right thing she paid tribute to soul train which is a HUGE inspiration and impact on their culture and mines so this is my favorite song🥺

Love the tribute to SOUL TRAIN(which would put the timeline of the video in the early 70s for those unaware). I think what I like most is that the video didn't disrespect the legacy of Soul Train in anyway. It's no secret that sometimes Korea can be a little racially insensitive(They're not the only country guilty of this of course). So I like that Park Ji yoon didn't tarnish something that meant a lot to the black community.
