In Supergrass's song "Bad Blood," the singer is struggling to come to terms with the reality of his life. He starts off the song by stating that he is losing sleep, and walks the dirty streets of his neighborhood, where he can hear the sound of bad blood running through it. The singer is clearly disturbed and confused by what is happening around him. He is not able to make sense of it and describes how his bed is not filled with romance and his life is not what he expected. He screams in frustration and desperation, unable to change the outcome of his life.
The chorus reveals the singer's inner turmoil as he declares himself on his knees, too late to make anything better. He admits that he doesn't believe that man needs God, but thanks Him for all he has. The city is sleeping, but he can't forget the person he loves, who is all he's got in this world. The singer is trying to hold on to what he has but is feeling lost, alone, and powerless.
In the second verse, the singer finds himself in side street shadows, trying to hold his head up. He smells the stale street stench, which has a stranglehold on him. The singer knows that the milk and honey won't heal his heartache and that he must take a chance and dance through life, even though the future is uncertain. He ends the song with another chorus reinforcing his helplessness and desperation.

I actually thought this song was by Iggy Pop, i was surprised its by Supergrass as i hated the song Alright. This is nothing like that.

I've been playing NFS Undercover and this song is on it. I genuinely thought it was Iggy Pop as the singing is similar to Passenger by Iggy Pop. I was surprised to find is it's by supergrass as i hated them when i was younger.
