With Clark being powerless for now I really hope he spends some much needed time with Jonathan. He trained Jordan on how to fly and left Jonathan behind to do all of the farm chores by himself which really wasn't resolved. Now's the perfect chance to have an opportunity to truly be there for Jonathan since he's going through such a tough time right now and could really use a dad to talk to; plus in helping Jonathan it will also help Clark to realize that it's his humanity aspect that makes him a hero not his kryptonian powers.

I'm also excited to see more of the kids in action. Since Steel said that with Superman out of commission for the time being and that they needed to step up, it's time for Jordan to step to the plate with more Superboy action (especially now that Jordan can now practically fly on his own). Not to mention Natalie with her own suit now, I'm glad that Jonathan didn't wear it because it just wouldn't seem to fit his character arc in suddenly out of nowhere being able to pilot and know how to work an advanced weapon suit like that.

Let the Ascension begin...of course Ally needed to drain the most powerful being on the planet of power to merge both worlds. The merger is definitely happening with Lana, Sarah and Sophie standing outside their garage looking up at a red sky. I think Jordan, John Henry, Jonathan and Natalie will have to all team up with grandpa's help from the D.O.D and take Ally down.
I think it's going to be similar to Supergirls episode when she has a solar flare but there is an earthquake and she still helps people without her powers. For example she walked into a convenience store where an armed men was robbing it and talked to him. Resulting in him heading over the gun eventhough Kara didn't have her powers.
I think Clark is still a hero. With or without powers he is a hero because of what's on the inside❤

Truthfully, she has always seen Jordan being busy as “he doesn’t love her enough or clearly doesn’t care enough to tell secrets to” and it always looked like if he didn’t put her first she didn’t want to be with him which can be unrealistic given they are independent individuals. So deserving of knowing not just Jordan’s secret but who Superman is, she definitely doesn’t.

Clark losing his powers is cool, but I wish it happened sooner. Him having to live life like Jonathan. And feeling powerless is a good arc for them both. But now with two eps left. Not a lot to explore.

For all the comments about the breaks - yes, it's frustrating. From the outside, it would seem so simple to delay a show until everything can be aired closer together. But that's just not the way it works. If this was a streaming-only show, sure, it could probably be delayed until all of it was ready. With a show that airs on a network, that can't quite happen. Even This Is Us, a much bigger show, filmed its finale episode about 3-4 weeks before it aired (according to interviews). If the CW waited for all of S&L S2, there would be no audience-bringing content in its place and that messes things up with the advertisers.

It's common to have production running concurrently with episodes that were filmed earlier. They have to air it as each episode becomes available. Plus, it seems like lots of productions were pushed back by COVID, and S&L specifically had a shutdown (in addition to probably being delayed already by COVID). I'm just glad we have a show at all.

So basically, it was probably planned to film and air concurrently, then COVID messed up the schedule.

@NVA Pisces Yeah, good point - every show has its own production schedule and some are able to just film all at once before airing while others can't. Maybe they had planned that for S&L initially but had to make changes. I'm pretty sure shows like Full House, Gilmore Girls, and Smallville were in production and airing at the same time, so it's not uncommon.

@F Gordon I'm not exactly sure what the vaccination protocols are for TV sets in Canada (where this is filmed), but breakthrough cases do happen. Perhaps there were breakthrough cases during the omicron spike

They could do that for the next season, although it seems unlikely because it is the call of the higher ups, maybe the showrunner or the executive producer. Stargirl does a fine job with filming the whole thing and airing them weekly without breaks so I don't see why S&L cannot do the same in the next season.

This show spends more time on break than airing episodes. If they just released them 1 episode a week it would have finished like 2 months ago

I know its one of the most annoying things. I get the mid season breaks the CW has always done it but this two episodes then two weeks off we have been doing for months know it just too much. Kills the pacing of the show. Hopefully CW dies and HBO can take over and just film the entire thing then release it weekly and not have these stupid breaks.

Superman was never about the power he wields. He was always about the hope and inspiration. Altho I wouldnt mind an awesome fighting scene. Show had so many of them and keeps them comin.

Been saying these for a while now, John and Nat will be the ones to take out Ally as they have the suits and I doubt they would have someone to merge with, at least Nat as she was in between worlds during crisis, that version of nat is not from this earth

This is what I think can happen..As we know Bizzaro Superman used kryptonite to get better/stronger against Ali..(aka became an addict)..I think Clark will think he needs to use the ex kryptonite to have powers and defete Ali..Also what they may try(very slim chance)is to merge Bizzaros body and Superman..We will see.I love the show,and especially Tyler as Clark🥰😍..Can't wait to see what happens next..What are your thoughts?😀

I think Jordan will somehow transfer his powers to Superman so the world can be saved.. in my mind that is the only way to save both planets... A true hero knows when to sacrifice for the needs of the many....

I don't think the powers work like that Clark Jordan and Tal are like batteries charged by Yellow Sun so Clark just depleted his energy but his powers should return as soon as he reabsorbs enough Yellow Sun Energy.

So how does a merger of both worlds happen when some don’t have doppelgängers? Like Sarah and her sister likely don’t exist on Bizarro world unless Lana was divorced or a widow before meeting Tal-Rho and they just never showed her kids.

Just a theory since everything is possible now in this show, Maybe Tal will fly out superman into the sun and achieve 1 million superman temporary to fight this parasite and then she will absorb again but it's too much energy to hold since everyone has a limit

@wisdom123 If Superman wants to retire then bring two super boys since superman is one of the top reasons this show has high ratings. Jonathan his half-Kryptonian cells are still there but the writer just won't bring that up because they only think one superboy is enough.

I would like it if Superman didn't get his powers back in the end of the season. Maybe they do the Death of Superman, but instead of him dying. He just loses his powers. And they can explore it more next season. Him living a normal life. Let it end with Tal Ro helping Jordan and the others fight Allie.... Could be how he redeems himself. Saving Lois's son, is a great path to forgiveness.

Superman didn't get his power from someone else or a meta-human but from a Kryptonian that every cell, bone, tissue, and body has special functions. He needs the sun to charge up.

Hopefully Tod’s explanation about the Arrowverse in the finale makes sense because the merging worlds plan now seems to be a Justice League level threat & especially with two worlds endangered.

Plus I’ve read the upcoming “The Flash” S8 finale is going to be so huge & massive it’s going to be divided into 3 episodes & with Danielle (Caitlin) wondering how it would be pulled off.

And so I’ve wondered if that, combined with plans to reveal a shocking cameo in its finale that will cause fans to scream, is setting up a Flash/Superman crossover & especially since both finale battles are sounding huge (the Bizarre & Prime worlds at war plus the possibility of past, present, & future colliding if the Still Force is involved in the final battle for S8).
