03 Greedo Lyrics

Gone
Yeah yeah, 03
Gone

What type of drugs do you do
I got thugs in all blue
I got killa′s in all red
And they aiming for the head
Gone off the molly
Gone off the molly
What type of drugs do you do
I got thugs in all blue
I got killa's in all red
And they aiming for the head
Gone off the molly (Molly)
Gone on a molly

Every time I pull up in the hood [?]
Still ain′t did that gangsta shit you should
Still waiting
If I'm so much of a ho then
Why you shake my hand
That ain't gangsta in the streets
And ya ain′t no man
I was thuggin′ in my projects [?]
When I was broke inside the shotguns
No one was jealous
When I stayed in Sacramento had a gun in my hand
I still was makin' instrumentals
Cuz′ I been had a plan
When I went out to Atlanta niggas thought it was over
Then I went to North Carolina with the hood on my shoulders
What you did for the hood
I make this shit look good
Is you just out here on drugs
Or is you really the plug
We connected way from Kansas, Illinois, Missouri
Texas to New York, down to New Jersey
Even though I'm on parole I know my piss is dirty
I am not a drug offender niggas thirsty

What type of drugs do you do
I got thugs in all blue
I got killa′s in all red
And they aiming for the head
Gone off the molly
Gone off the molly
What type of drugs do you do
I got thugs in all blue
I got killa's in all red
And they aiming for the head

Gone off the molly (Molly)
Gone on a molly

Overall Meaning

In "Molly," 03 Greedo talks about the types of drugs he and his crew use, their gang affiliations, and their violent intentions. He repeatedly mentions being "gone off the molly," indicating that he is high on the drug MDMA. He boasts about having "thugs in all blue" and "killas in all red," referring to the Bloods and Crips, two long-standing gangs in Los Angeles. He also mentions that they are "aiming for the head," suggesting that they are willing to use violence to achieve their goals.

In the next verse, 03 Greedo addresses his haters, saying that he has not yet done the "gangsta shit" he should have. He questions why they would shake his hand if they think he is a "ho" and not a real man. He then goes on to reflect on his life growing up in the projects and how he had a gun even when he was broke. However, he had a plan to succeed and make his name known. He mentions how he ventured out to Atlanta and North Carolina, carrying the weight of his hood on his shoulders. He also talks about his connections across different states, from Kansas to New York, despite being on parole and potentially facing legal consequences.

Overall, "Molly" is a song that showcases 03 Greedo's bravado as a rapper and his affiliations with gang culture. He emphasizes his drug use, gang ties, and violent intentions, which are often themes in hip-hop music.
