Dragonfaith
10 Years Lyrics

Gets caught in our eyes
This pure, absorptive force
Pulls us for the shore
(And sets us down on clum)
With fire in our blood
We walk through this rain
Then we will be free
The riptide, will return to the sea
We’ll create our own destiny
The riptide, will return to the sea
We’ll create our own destiny
Let this turbulence set us free
We will forge our own legacy
The song "Dragonfaith" by 10 Years is an introspective take on the human experience and the power of faith. The first verse sets the stage for the song, with imagery of the sun in the sky reflecting in our eyes and a pure force leading us towards the shore. The chorus speaks of the power of faith, with the imagery of walking through rain with fire in our blood. If we can find this faith, the song suggests, we will be free. The second verse reinforces this idea, with the metaphor of a riptide that will eventually return to the sea, reminding us that life is always in flux, and that we have the power to create our own destiny. The final lines, "Let this turbulence set us free / We will forge our own legacy," encapsulate the core message of the song: that sometimes the most turbulent moments in life can be the ones that lead us to something greater.
Overall, "Dragonfaith" is a song about believing in oneself, and in the power of the human spirit to overcome adversity. Through vivid imagery and poetic language, the song encourages listeners to find their own path in life, and to have faith in their ability to create a positive future.

Wow. I like 10 Years... but they've come a long way. This album (for me personally) is a mixture of fantastic songs and outright bad songs, this being one of the later. This song sounds like a 14 year old shouting in his garage lol

Mike really was hit or miss. When he was on he was amazing. But if he wasn’t the songs were god awful. No disrespect but yeah….
