In 1999 the group took a break: Zohra starts a solo career, and Pat Krimson gives his full attention to another project of his, Nunca. At the end of that year, when Zohra decides to continue her solo career, the new 2 Fabiola is presented to the world, introducing singer Medusa (Evy Goffin). After some singles with Medusa, the group disappears from the Belgian music scene. In 2007, Krimson announced the band's come-back, introducing 2 new singers.
Now the comeback is a fact with Viola Furleo from Hasselt and Loredana Deamicis from Genk. With these two new faces 2 Fabiola was reborn. The single "We Love The 90's, which appeared as a digital release on 1 april 2008 was the anthem for the big" I Love The 90's "Party in the Ethias in Hasselt. This was a megaparty with all kinds of performances with eurodancegroups from the nineties. The first truly new single, 2 Fabiola "Blow Me Away" is published at the end of June 2008.

The song "Flashback" by 2 Fabiola begins with the question, "Is this a vision? Or is this real?" which captures the uncertainty and confusion of the singer. They are experiencing a strange transmission and wondering if it's all in their mind or happening in reality. The repetition of "flashback" reinforces the idea of the singer reliving a past event, something that they have seen before, and the possibility of being transported back through the same door again.
The ambiguity in the lyrics can be interpreted as a reflection of the feeling of déjà vu or nostalgia, where one feels that they’ve experienced something before or are reliving a particular moment from the past. The use of repetition in the lyrics provides emphasis and creates a hypnotic effect, as if the listener is being pulled back into the past. The overall effect is quite haunting, as the singer is trapped in a loop of memories and emotions.
Overall, "Flashback" is an introspective song that explores themes of memory, time, and perception. It captures the feeling of being stuck in a memory or a moment, unable to escape or move forward. The dreamlike quality of the music and the repetition of the lyrics add to the sense of disorientation and confusion that the singer is experiencing.
