@adrianscally Haha, yup. If you actually count out the meaures, the verses turn out to be an 11.5 bar blues due to that quick change to the A (on the first "it's my soul). The "refrain" (and the subsequent solo section) then goes into a normal 12 bar blues. Gotta love it.

@PhishB0wl I meant that the odd time change in the verse is tricky to remember after too many whiskeys. It happened one night my band tried this tune, and I annoyed my bass player. I was saying trust Phish to take something so standard and mess with it until it's fresh.
