The thing is that the A-Team is really well set up to be a trilogy.
Film One: exactly what this film did. Show how they got together, show "the crime they didn't commit," show how they're convicted and then escape and then end up as on-the-run outlaws.
Film Two: show them at their height as outlaws-for-hire. Give us a story where someone who's in trouble, who no one else can help, finds them and hires them to rescue a friend or to get rid of someone who's been hurting him or, you know, the kind of thing we remember from the TV show. Basically, take an episode of the TV show and scale it up into a full-on movie, or take several episodes from the TV show and stitch them together into a full-on movie.
Film Three: show the end of their outlaw years with them getting their names cleared. Basically go with the premise of Season 5: introduce General Stockwell and have him hire them to go on an especially high-risk operation, in exchange for which they end up getting pardoned and finally vindicated.
Of course, that's if you want a trilogy. You can definitely have multiple films between the first one and the last one, too.

This doesn’t get said nearly enough but Liam Neeson was perfect as Hannibal in this movie.

how the hell did this great movie not get a sequel?!!! the cast had serious chemistry together and everyone involved enjoyed the movie. I remember watching this in theaters and everyone was literally cheering and rocking the whole time, sooo fun.
Vincent McGettigan
It was a super cool and fun movie that 100 percent should of became a 3 or 4 film franchise. Really ashame it didn't.
Knickerson
Easy Answer: Liam Neeson had the “Taken” franchise and Bradley Cooper had “The Hangover” franchise, “Silver Linings Playbook” and “American Hustle” with David O Russell and “A Star Is Born.” “The A-Team” was peanuts compared to their star power.
Nick Smart
The cast sucked. Liam Neeson is no Hannibal smith. He can't even get the plan comes together line right.
