Subculture is literally one of my favorite all time palettes.I’ve never had any problems whatsoever with it. I must have got a good batch because it saddens me how much hate it gets considering how amazing it is for me.

BTW, hard candy seems to have a new stick foundation for 7$!! i hope you can try it out. unfortunately porcelain is too dark for me (im basically translucent) but i think it will work for you shade-wise. i'd love to see a video testing new hard candy stuff, they have a lot!

I do love my Subculture palette. I was afraid to touch it after seeing the reviews but I haven't had any issues. Anyway, the colors in the palette are the coolest and it works for my everyday and my fancy nights out.

I picked up the Makeup Revolution palette a few days ago and it has definitely made it to my “go to” palettes on my vanity. It is amazing! I always foil my shimmer shadows, so I don’t find the shimmer shades to be a problem when doing that. I highly recommend this palette and any others that Makeup Revolution makes!

I have the Hush palette and mine isn’t quite as patchy as yours was. But I still find it harder to work with than the other Hush palettes I own. The base plays a huge role in how it performs. I usually use concealer as an eyeshadow base and then set it with powder.

I don't have the retro love palette but I have 4 other palettes by bad habit and they are all amazing! I have the Athena, supernova, inferno and artistry palettes and they are sooo good! From reviews I've seen the retro love is the only bad palette from bad habit. Also from reviews bad habit seems to be the overall best brand from Hush.

I LOVE my retro palette, mine isn't patchy at all. With any palette sometimes there are good runs and bad runs when they are made. I've also found that with hush the first palettes released always seem the best then after they restock a couple times. I have pretty much all the dupe palettes they have and every single one has been amazing! I love your honesty for your personal experience though.

I have several palettes from Hush and from Bad Habit, and have really liked them for the most part (some shades are a miss, but most are nice). The milkshake palette on Hush from face candy is amazing and is a pretty close dupe for the Too Faced matte peach palette.

Yeah, the Retro Love palette wasn't good. I really do think the problem was that they copied the formula because their other palettes I've tried are SO nice. I adore the Athena palette. It's such nice packaging and the shadows are amazing. Try some of the other palettes from Bad Habit on the Hush app.

ABH Modern Renaissance dupe is the Wet and Wild the Rose in the air palette. It's just missing a couple of the shades but it's amazing, and it's under $5. These companies charging like $50 are totally scamming us. You can get good stuff for 5 or 10 bucks or even less. Keep It Coming drugstore companies!

I would say Hush is the perfect dupe for the subculture palette. Haha. It is really odd that Make Up Revolution, the most affordable brand, can do a better job than a well known brand. Just tells ya higher price doesn't always mean better quality.

Fun video! I might have to try something from Makeup Revolution. I think this palette was a good one to dupe as a lot of people might be hesitant to try these colors at $40+, but at $8 its less of a risk to try something new.
Also I would love to see you review the Bobbi Brown BB cream, they now have an extra light color! My friend and I both like this and I'm dry and she's combo.

I’d love to see a comparison of the Huda Beauty Rose Gold palette vs the Hard Candy 1339 Rose Gold palette. The price difference is $55 and from what I’ve see the Hard Candy Palette is a pretty spot on dupe for the Huda Beauty Palette.

Thanks for another amazing vid! I actually have the Retro Love palette from Hush and love it. Apparently they had some batch issues just like ABH and some palettes were better than others. Though I have to admit, that army green color you used is rough in the Retro Love palette. Everything else has been great though!

W7 has a perfect dupe for the Subculture. It's called On the Rocks and it's pretty good quality, the texture and performance reminds me of Zoeva shadows. It's only 12 Euros 💃

It's funny that me and you had the same thoughts about the shadows because before you revealed which side was which, I thought that the makeup revolution lid was way better but the hush side lower lash line and inner corner looked better lol I'm also drawn to that mustard yellow 😭 That's the main reason why I was attracted to the subculture palette and also the Jaclyn hill palette

Well I just went out and bought the makeup revolution palette after watching this. I’ve been playing round with it and I quite like it. I’d say the shimmery green colour is a bit chunky and hard to work with buts it’s pretty when it’s on.

I like the retro love palette... But I don't use heavy heavy eyeshadow on my eyes. So extreme pigmentation isn't a necessity for me ( especially with matte shades... I like a shadow of the hue not complete coverage of my eye.. Shimmer shades I like to go on stronger ). I just enjoy the different shades. When you don't apply heavily you don't get very much fall out, and experience so much patchiness.... But I know the trends are heavy eyeshadow now.

I have that palette! Not my fave of the Reloaded palettes, but it's still nice! You should try the neutrals 3 palette, and the Soft Glam dupe! I'm so tempted to get Emily's new collab with Revolution. The big palette looks gorgeous! 😊

Whenever I use shadows from Retro Love, they work fine and blend out nicely. I just think for all three palettes (Bad Habit, Makeup Revolution and ABH) some of these colors just can’t and won’t mesh together

Had the same experience with the retro love palette. I've seen so many people rave about the bad habit beauty palettes and honestly, the two I've bought have been total crap except for the shimmery shades. Kinda confused the hell out of me how they can make bomb ass metallic shades and such crappy mattes 🤷‍♀️ And equally confusing how so many people like those matte shades 🤔..I couldn't get them to work for the life of me.

leebees hush really has amazing palettes, but you have to keep in mind the price point. You’re paying $10-12 for a dupe. Most of the dupes are fantastic for the price point, but you will find there is a bit more fall out and you have to blend more than you would with the actual brand name. With that being said, I do find that Bad Habit is a great brand if you understand what you’re buying. I have about fifteen of their palettes and a few additional palettes from Beauty Creations as well.

Athena palette is one of the better palettes. And if you like the naked heat... they have a dupe. Think its called solstice or something

Yes more dupes please. Try the BYS Berries palette which is a dupe for the ABH Modern Renaissance Pallette. Or the BYS Nude Palette which is a dupe for the Urban Decay. BYS is a Aussie brand and it cruelty free.
