The desire for power and resources will never be satisfied

So our forefathers foretold
Our ancestors predicted this would happen

But the land cannot be bought
The land cannot be owned, sold or purchased

It is impossible to own or sell the land

To a heart that is icy cold
To those who are emotionless and indifferent

To a fool drunk on his black gold
To those who are foolishly obsessed with oil and wealth

Soon the sky spirit will sing to me
In the near future, I will receive a spiritual message

Soon the time when we will all be free
The time is approaching when we will all be liberated

You are causing damage and destruction while you gain more wealth

Here on this rock we stand
We stand firmly on this land

The names of different Native American tribes

Swore allegiance to defend
Made a solemn promise to protect

Caravans come far and wide
People have travelled from all over to help us

And new nations will descend
Other groups will come to join us

To our aid up on this hill
To help us while we are on this hill

Fists up high till the end
We will fight to the end

All that is now depends
The current situation is dependent upon

On strangers that I now call friends
On people who were once strangers but are now considered our friends

How can you not hear them?
How can you ignore the demons that have been summoned?

Demons summoned from the deep
Negative forces have been called forth

How can you not fear them?
How can you not feel afraid of the ghosts that haunt you?

Ghosts that haunt you in your sleep
The spirits are causing you distress

How can you not heed the damned?
How can you not listen to those who have been cursed?

Still here on this rock we stand
We remain firmly on this land, despite the challenges we face

Spirits arise from the earth
Spirits are emerging from the land

From the stones and the trees
They are coming from nature itself

And the bison in the next life
Even the animals have a role to play

Roam as far as eyes can see
They are free to move as far as they want

And the only reason I am
The primary purpose for my existence

Is for the seven generations to be
Is to ensure the well-being of seven generations to come

The spirits and our ancestors are standing with us and offering their support

Our request will be acknowledged by the divine
