part of me hopes the housing system will be like FFXIV's, only because the ensuing meltdown of the community would be very funny. but i don't think sky would actually go down a limited-housing route, sky's player base already dislikes having to pay for anything.

I have a feeling it will be like shared spaces, I just hope with extra functionality and that it's permanent (with the ability to make changes of course). Shared spaces don't interest me that much currently because I don't want to put in a ton of effort into something that will disappear.

What I would I would like to see, even if the "door" is in the village, our house could actually be almost anywhere in sky? Like imagine setting up your house-space in one of those abandoned spots in the Wind Paths area or Cresent Oasis. I would also like to have the option to visit my friend's house from the friend constellation (as long as they have it "public).

Thinking about other games I played as a kid like Club Penguin and OurWorld, I believe everyone got a house space for free but you could pay to expand it and it either straight up IAP or expensive in-game currency or locked behind a membership. If Sky goes down the paid membership route..... i think a lot of people would be very unhappy. I hope they don't do that and the house spaces are equal for everyone.

edit: i also hope our house will have both an inside and outside yard/patio area, because we have soooo many outdoorsy props currently

(during Halloween when they delayed iaps, some people could see them, some couldn’t. The servers were glitchy and people could barely buy the iaps for their friends since they had to be sitting on eachothers backs to not disconnect.. and you cant gift people while on their back)

For the housing currency, I would like to suggest Ascended candles. I don't think we need a separate currency, but I also think that moths would be intimidated if everything would cost regular candles or hearts. It would also encourage us to have Eden runs, which they are also trying to improve!

I would absolutely LOVE if we could somehow have some personal, private, charming little corner of our own in Sky! Yes, functionally like the concept of arranging shared spaces, but our own, and accessible by invite only. Maybe a place where we could decorate with our props and outfits, practice music or chat with friends in greater peace and quiet, and we could check the constellation to send gifts and collect light, but not officially be “online”? (Although, honestly, I’d love a full-on player mode like that too. There’s times I love being open to interacting with others while I play, but sometimes it’d be nice to be able to toggle into a “solo mode” that was something a bit more than DND.) And I’d totally vote with you for a props/furniture shop - how fun would that be?! Ohhh, or little mailboxes or a postal system for friends to use?! OR, even the ability to send a short note when giving a heart through the constellation, like being able to say something appreciative toward the person you’re giving it to?

EDIT! Maybe instead of a traditional “mailbox,” we could have something like a little water feature/tiny fountain! It could have an upper “shelf” for hearts and notes and lights, and a little pool at the base of a tiny waterfall for paper boats and cranes and lanterns.

I'd love to see on of the aviary buildings become a candle shop, when you can go in and maybe pay a heart to light a coloured candle. Whichever coloured candle you have lit will be the colour your skykid holds, and will also change the colour of the glow your character gives off. It would be like the home candles where you can only have one lit at a time. And if you light the green candle then any green cosmetics you wear won't end up looking like trash because your character will glow green not orange. Could also be nice to have this shop also offer permanent trail colours for a price

I know some people have said they don’t love the Aviary, and I do very much understand feeling attached and nostalgic about something, but I only played a little back when the original home space was the only option, and for me, it personally always felt a bit cramped. It was a game that largely centered around flying, but there wasn’t really any substantial space or recharging clouds to practice that flying at home. I get that practice space is not technically necessary if you just go into a realm, but it’s something I felt I would have liked. So for me, I guess it’s kind of the other way around compared to some of the opinions I’ve seen - as opposed to feeling too spread out, I finally feel like there’s a little more room to breathe and things to do even at home, and I love that the Aviary feels less like a place between everything else and more like a village and home base, and I love the idea of taking that feeling to the next level with individual spaces.

I'm wondering if perhaps it would be better for our house to be through a tunnel or pathway somewhere that loads a different area from Aviary. It might make it feel a tad bit more detatched from the rest of the village since you're loading into a different map, but would also make more sense if we are to decorate the outside as well as the inside. well, instead of getting a new currency, they could make a better use of "getting hearts". it's so even a small problem to get hearts, and you need unfortunately lots of them... so, that would be a idea, especially with the idea to "work" (more or less) at that bar / Cafe.

well, i would either see a sort of "private space", like you said - looking maybe like the shared spaces, but with a bit more privacy, so that you can allow friends (friends, not strangers!) that they can to a visit to you. i think, there's not that much furniture needed - but i won't say no if they do.

but i hope, they fix first the bugs - and then take time to make that, and not "slap" a new season on there - and got more bugs to fix...

it would be so fucking cool if we could pick our neighbors (like a best friend or something) and to add eachother it has to be a mutual request, and in aviary there could be one through four “houses” that we can use that key on, and only us can go in unless holding a friends hand

I don't know why, I have two phones on one sky never opened, and on another recently sky want update but from play store it's removed. No more to play. Sky is still on play store or on Android but not for me. 😢 I hope they will fix soon :| btw your voice is still so cute ❤
