Ima tell you, they don’t know how to be a successful idol. Cause it’s up to the company. When your preparing for debut it’s up to the company how to promote you, how to utilize your talents, and help make your famous in general. Its out of the idols range wether they will be successful or not, it’s just a game of luck. And for your question at the end, probably not.

i rly wanna be an idol and ive always wanted to perform when i was little. Not k-pop but i always wanted to be a singer, or dancer or figure skater (I was in competitve figureskating before covid hit for a year) or some sort of entertainer/ performer type job. I got into k-pop recently and i really wish I got into it earlier so I could have started to learn to dance because im 15 now and most idols start their predebut at my age already and I have no experience in anything exept a bit of singing but I really really want to become a kpop idol, even if I know i would probably suffer a lot to be able to get there.

The only really hard thing for me to do is staying slim because sometimes i get overweight but usually i manage to stay not overweight from exercise but its just hard for people like me because i have an eating disorder so i cant really control my eating really no matter how hard i try but the rest of it is pretty simple for someone like me because i already do all of that stuff and whatsapp is the only social media i have but idrk if that counts tho as what has to be deleted but i dont even post videos or posts on here tho so it doesnt really matter

I believe I could be an idol. Im 20(but looks like a 14 year old) have a good and healthy ish body, I know more than one language, I can dance but Im like a athlete person so I move alot, everyone loves me in highschool so no enemies, im not racist and did nothing bad which is good, I workout, I can rap but not really a good singer, I hate eating fast food, and etc. But now i feel like i could never and i feel bad. So I have a Korean and we went to school together and I told her that I what to be an idol or just a dancer(told her about auditioning) She told me to do it. She send me audition and info and i was like okay. I told other friends about me auditioning. I was 18 at the time and was working on dances to send them but i stopped because my voice wasn't good enough. English kinda ruined my voice(Spanish was my first language) and couldn't hit notes. I can rap but rap and singing is different and i can't sing. So i stopped. I was my dream but stopped. I'll just do dancing. I'm full of skills but singing is not for me. So I tried but stopped. Now I saw and video and realized its hard so im kinda okay but the fact that my Korean friend hyped me up😭

heyy, I suggest you don't try to audition at yg because it's one of the 3 biggest agencies and you have 5% to pass the first audition (then there would be the 2nd and 3rd auditions which are even more difficult to pass if you don't know Korean or English) the agencies don't tend to take foreigners (except for Japanese, Chinese, Thai and few other Asian countries). unfortunately they are based on your beauty at fir, so if you don't meet a certain standard of beauty you may not even be taken into consideration. I hope that helped you a bit.

for agencies you could look for smaller agencies which are maybe easier to audition online ^^
