Get Wild
Aaron Carter Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Your mind accelerates passion
The time has come to get wild
Rise up and follow fusion
Our youth is just an illusion
Lets start a revolution
Explore the corridors we'll find our restitution
Music, it's all around and you choose it
To take control or you loose it
Your way to find an escape from dancing to this song
Power, minutes turn into hours
Now's the time to get louder
The light is there to be seen your dreamin' no you've gotta
Stop. Everybody get wild
We've travelled so far to explore the mysteries of life
And the reality of our youth
Is overlooked by those who restrict our freedom
Our freedom to get wild
This is Aaron
And this is my world
And it's yours
Stop. Everybody get wild
Listen, there callin' but you're missin'
You're standin' off in position
A crowded room is in rage
I'm up on stage fire
You say you want to go higher up and fly away, you're gone
Ain't nothin' wrong with standin' I'm commanding you to
Stop. Everybody get wild
In these lyrics from Aaron Carter's song "Get Wild," he encourages his listeners to let loose and set themselves free. He urges listeners to activate their bodies and accelerate their passion, indicating that it's time to let loose and start a revolution. The song highlights the idea that our youth is fleeting and should be taken advantage of to find restitution. The lyrics demonstrate that music has the power to help listeners find an escape and take control of their lives.
The phrase "Stop. Everybody get wild" serves as a powerful chorus throughout the song, encouraging listeners to let go of their inhibitions and dive into the beat of the music. Carter emphasizes the need to find freedom and autonomy in our lives, suggesting that we must break free from those who restrict our freedom. He asks that we all come along on this journey of exploration, promising that this is his world and that it can be ours too if we let go and get wild.

This is the first time I’ve come to listen to this song since I was about 7 years old lol. The last time I listened to this song it was blasting out of my mom’s car speakers and something bad had happened while it was blaring going down the road so I think the song had traumatized me in a way because I could no longer listen to this song without being scared of it and starting to panic. Here I am 26 years old and able to listen to it again because Aaron Carter was my first love at 3 years old. 😂😂
