Carter began his performing career at the age of seven, as the lead singer of a local band, Dead End. He made his first solo appearance, singing a cover of The Jets' Crush on You, when opening for the Backstreet Boys in Berlin in March 1997. The performance was followed by a record contract, and in the fall of 1997, he released his first single, "Crush on You". His first full-length album was released on December 1, 1997. The album, Aaron Carter achieved gold status in Norway, Spain, Denmark, Canada, and Germany, and was released in the United States on June 16, 1998.
His next album, Aaron's Party (Come Get It) was released in the United States on September 26, 2000 under the Jive label. The album achieved triple-platinum certification, selling more than 1.5 million copies in the United States. At the age of 13, Carter recorded the album Oh Aaron, which was released on August 7, 2001 and featured his first duet recording with his brother, Nick.
Carter's next album, Another Earthquake, was released on September 3, 2002, during the "Rock, Rap, and Retro" tour. The album featured the patriotic-themed "America A.O." and the ballad "Do You Remember". Carter's Most Requested Hits, a collection including tracks from his last three albums as well as a new single, One Better, was released on November 3, 2003.
"Saturday Night", was released on March 22, 2005 and promoted by Carter during his summer 2005 Remix Tour. The single was also featured in the soundtrack of the film Popstar, in which Carter starred. Carter was also one of the many artists to record a song on the album DisneyMania. Carter recorded "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" from The Lion King.
During a chance encounter at a mutual friend's recording studio on May 10, 2009, Aaron wrote and recorded the song, "I Love Everything About You" with MTV reality show host Tila Tequila.
On May 23, 2009, "I Ain't Gonna Take No More," a song intended for inclusion on Carter's next album, was leaked to the media. Also in 2009 Aaron released the single "Dance With Me (feat. Flo Rida)". In 2010 he released "Planet Rock" which features Busta Rhymes.
Aaron released lead single Fools Gold of his upcoming 5th album LรธVรซ on April 1st 2016. The new upcoming 5th album LรธVรซ is expected to drop late 2016 or early 2017.
Aaron died on November 5th 2022 in his home (Lancaster, California). He was 34 years old.

I agree. I was pleasantly surprised. Weโre both the same age. This sounds good for todays rap and pop scene. Some songs sound trendy and very cutting edge. (For kids) his album in 2000 sounded this fresh when we first heard it as kids!๐. Iโm praying for his family. He left us too soon!

It is so sad that Aaron didn't get appreciated by music industry, he sings, produces, plays instruments well, till his last days he's been working hard on his music while also battling with online bullies and other family issues... You donโt understand how many charities he defrauded, disabled people and children he scammed. He was not an angel. Unfortunately he knew how to con authority figures into leaving him alone to die instead of getting help. His enablers killed him. He didnโt even have custody of his new born son. There is so much to this story you donโt understand. Youโre probably 18 or so and donโt get it. But constructive criticism is NOT bullying. Grow up and get tougher skin. Unfortunately Aaron didnโt. If you watch his lives there would be 50 good comments and one bad one and he would focus on that one. He was a lost soul.

I know him better than you do, I have followed his journey since he was a kid, I was a huge fan of him, and I have seen how Aaron's mental state became worse and worse throughout the years, he would fight his haters but would never hurt innocent people. You probably only started to know him from those crazy live streams he did in the very recent years, he wasn't always like that, his life is way more complicated and I wish I can tell you all about it here. The stuff he went through you can't even imagine. And Aaron is tougher than you think, music industry is so toxic, his family is toxic, social media is toxic, but he choose to keep fighting for his name, working on his music, so don't judge someone from who they became the last couple years, or believe the stuff you see online, especially when that person is clearly struggling. You say he doesn't want help? Of course he wants, he has been saying for years that he wants to get better, and there are many times he did get sober, he even went on the Doctors show to public seeking help.. There are so much you don't know about this person so please respect the dead and let him rest in peace.
