1) Accidental Suicide was an old school death metal band from Wisconsin,USA. They formed in 1989 by Ed Jackson (Vocals), Bill Mears (Guitars), Travis Staedter (Guitars), Steve Fera (Bass) and Chris Kinkerski (Drums).
2) Accidental Suicide is a Thrash metal band from Germany. The band was founded in december 2005 by Aldi, Scheia and Spike. For about 3 years the guys played with a drum-computer and wrote own songs, which they recorded in their rehearsal room. In 2008 a demo was recorded with a friend of the band who is a trained sound engineer. The demo contained 6 tracks, still recorded with programmed drums and was only available at some gigs and for friends of the band, but it was never released officially. In early 2009 Schore joined Accidental Suicide as their new drummer, and the guys finally found their musical style: Thrash metal with lots of influences from heavy metal, hard rock, with grooves and melodies and with the kick ass energy and the "fuck you!"-attitude of punk rock. In october 2011 the band recorded their first demo with full line-up at the Never Ending Music Studio in Regensburg. The four-track-ep was mixed and mastered in november and december and was released in january 2012. They play a mix of thrash metal, heavy metal and punk, with lots of melodic elements and guitar harmonies, for example in the style of Iron Maiden. Although the base of their sound is thrash metal, the band didn´t want to become another retro copy of Slayer, Anthrax or Metallica, but to combine all possible musical influences from the huge variety of heavy metal music.

The Life I Hate
Accidental Suicide Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
my mind is flashing
iridescent shades of red
watching me dying
fantastic dream in my head
why must I live
by right I should die
repeated reasoning
then I think maybe I should try
edge of my silver
gleams from the light
my mind screams this is the night
curse me and let me die
I screeach out loud
"release me"
I hate this life
you must let me go
first shaving of flesh and meat
hangs from my arm
watching my blood spurt and spill
makes me grow alarmed
halfway is not good enough
I cant bear this pain
red is splashing now silently like rain
twirling and twisting
I feel dizziness
my throat swells up
not only is there chunks and blood
and now I vomit-I threw up
this horrid mess Im creating
a sight I must endure
to exit life and enter death
this is my cure
seeing my blood dance down walls
tears stream down my face
I watch in awe
a collage of frenzied and confused thoughts
saliva meets blood as it strings from my jaw
kill me kill me now
cure me and let me die
I screeach out loud
"release me"
I hate my life
fuck off world
now I go
The lyrics to Accidental Suicide's "The Life I Hate" are a harrowing portrayal of depression and suicide. The singer is clearly in immense pain, both physical and emotional, and has reached the point where they see death as the only way out. The opening lines, "Kill me kill me now," set the tone for the rest of the song, as the singer begs for release from their pain. The mention of "iridescent shades of red" and "fantastic dream in my head" suggest that the singer is experiencing hallucinations or delusions, adding to the overall sense of mental anguish.
The second verse reveals that the singer has been contemplating suicide for some time, and has even reached the point where they begin to prepare for it. The imagery of the "edge of my silver" and "halfway is not good enough" suggests that the singer is attempting to harm themselves with a blade, likely in an attempt to slit their wrists. The physical pain is described vividly, with the singer feeling dizzy, vomiting, and watching their blood "dance down walls." Despite this, the singer seems aware that death is their only escape from their suffering.
The final lines of the song suggest that the singer has given up on the world entirely, and is ready to depart from it for good. The phrase "fuck off world" is a stark example of this, demonstrating a deep sense of alienation and despair. Overall, "The Life I Hate" is a powerful and tragic portrayal of depression and suicidal ideation.

I WORSHIP THIS ALBUM!!! Easily the most unjustly under-rated death metal band of our time!!! They ought to re-form and record another album.

I must say I love this track - one of the favorite songs I've ever produced. When I want to demonstrate to someone exactly what a death metal riff is meant to sound like, I use the opening of this track. ERIC

I took trumpet lessons from the bass player of this band in the early 90's! He was a great guy and talented multi-instrumentalist who taught my 11 year old self how important it was to listen to all kinds of of music and not just metal.
