1) Achilles is a hardcore band formed by members of previous Rochester hardcore bands Building On Fire, The Breaking Project, and Standfast. Josh Dillion plays bass, Rob "Nooch" Antonucci plays guitar, Chris Browne plays drums, and Rory Van Grol sings. They have released a demo on Luchador Records, a split with Syracuse metalcore band Engineer on Hex Records, and two full length albums entitled "The Dark Horse" and most recently "Hospice" also on Hex Records. Known for their awe inspiring live performances and dark, revealing lyrics, they are not a band to be missed.
2) Achilles is the alias of Lukas Pettersson who released two records in 2003 on Stilleben Records, a Swedish label
