Aleluya
Adriana Bottina Lyrics

Algo en mí no
Estaba funcionando,
Me hizo volver a ti

Overall Meaning

Adriana Bottina's song "Aleluya" is an expression of gratitude and surrender to God. The verses speak of feeling stuck, like something was not working inside of her, and that she was rusting without knowing why. However, when she realizes that God had a plan for her and what he did for her on the cross, she felt moved to return to him. She declares that she can now look at him closely without fear and jump into his arms like a child with their father.

The chorus tells of her testimony that she is the work of God's hands and that he is her designer. She says that he has traced her path, given her his style, his character, and his thirst. She feels different, wearing a new dress and walking with the king. The song ultimately ends with her proclaiming "aleluya" (hallelujah), giving thanks and praise to God.

This song, like many of Bottina's works, is a representation of her Christian faith. Its message encourages people to surrender their lives to God and trust in his plan. The song's lyrics are touching and inspiring, and its soft melody is an appeal to the heart.
