Don't look all around
I'm here all around

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Aeroflot's song "All Around" speak to a sense of presence and comfort that one person can offer another. The opening line, "Don't look all around," suggests that the singer wants their listener to focus solely on them, rather than getting distracted by all of the other things going on in their environment. This is followed by the reassuring message, "I'm here all around." The singer is letting the listener know that they are not alone, and that they are there to offer support and love.

One interpretation of these lyrics is that they reflect the importance of being present for someone. In today's fast-paced and often isolated world, it can be difficult to find people who are willing to be fully present and attentive. By affirming their commitment to being "all around" their listener, the singer in this song is expressing a willingness to be that kind of support.

Another possible interpretation is that the lyrics speak to a spiritual or transcendental experience. The idea of someone being "all around" suggests a level of omnipresence that is often associated with a higher power. The song may be suggesting that, in moments of hardship or uncertainty, there is a sense of comfort to be found in a belief in something larger than ourselves.

I flew Aeroflot from Bishkek - Moscow - London a few years ago and actually loved them.

The passengers were a nightmare but even in cattle class there was plenty of leg room for a tall person like me (until the person in front got drunk and broke his seat into my knees when trying to work out how to sit down after going to the toilet), plus the food wasn't objectionable, the crew were great, and everything was on time despite Bishkek being the most disorganised and non user friendly airport I've ever been to.

Moscow airport was different... Extremely organised compared to Bishkek and when I asked at the information desk where I needed to go for my connection the staff member both checked that the onward flight was on time for me, and then escorted me to the correct queue for the flight connections. Staff were great.

Prices were pretty decent too (£200 for a last minute one way ticket Bishkek to London).

It's a shame you never had a chance to fly on the Ilyushin or the TU-154 as your first flight. That would have been epic. I flew the TU-154 to Pyongyang with Air Koryo in 2010. It needed a lot of maintenance (a lot of things were broken) but a great experience to be on one of the last passenger ones flying.

As a 41 year old female Nigerian, I used to fly Aeroflot from Lagos via Moscow to Vienna on my yearly summer holiday with my mum. In the 90s, they were quite good when it came to baggage allowances, cheap, efficient and reliable talking from an African perspective 😊.

Thanks for sharing that experience.

His perspective is his own bias British perspective. You could tell he had a superiority complex about everything Russian. Those British anglos have always had a negative view towards anything Soviet/Russian. Same people that tried to bring the Russian for the last few decades. I would guarantee that anyone else who flew Aeroflot, that is not British, would have good things to say about the airline.

@Agustin Rangel But he's right, you know. Aeroflot was a total mess from late 80's to late 90's. I have nothing to compare it with though since Aeroflot was the only airline i used at that time. I don't know what BA or Lufthansa for instance looked like back then. But Aeroflot 30 years ago and Aeroflot today are like North Korea and Switzerland.

I’ve been flying with Aeroflot for 20 years, annually from Germany to Russia and back (alone this year 2 times). I was and am happy about everything. I have not had any problems with them.

Apparently you've never flown in a Yak-40, with car tires loaded into the aisle once the passengers had boarded!!

@202 50 Of course not.Yak 40 never flew to Germany.

@202 50 Hello! I have experienced YAK-42D once. It was one year ago just before IZH-Avia decided to shift to Boeing. I can tell you that my first impression when I got on the plane was that the smell was absolutely the same as in LADA :)))) But the flight was pretty good overall considering the fact that YAK never had autopilot at all!
