1. Afterglow is a Japanese five-member girl band from the BanG Dream! franchise. They debuted on September 6, 2017 with the song “That Is How I Roll!”. The band consists of five singers/voice actors. Sakura Ayane/Mitake Ran (vocalist, guitarist), Misawa Sachika/Aoba Moca (guitarist), Katou Emiri/Uehara Himari (bassist), Hikasa Yoko/Udagawa Tomoe (drummer) and Kanemoto Hisako/Hazawa Tsugumi (keyboardist). The canon background story is that Afterglow is a band of five childhood friends. When Ran (Vo.) moved to a different class in middle school, the girls made a band so they could still see each other. Now in high school, they love playing in their band, practicing after school and playing live shows. They get along famously and almost never fight. Though they're still fairly inexperienced, they gained popularity for their powerful performances and strong vocals.
2. Afterglow is a metalcore/djent band based in Mexico City. Their sound is defined by down-tuned groovy riffs with catchy choruses and dreamy atmospheres, while their message clearly stems from the overwhelming feelings of existential irrelevance that most people in our generation suffers from. Afterglow exists to cheer you up and make you feel connected, relieved that you are not alone in this. In 2020, Afterglow made a notable entrance into the metalcore scene with their singles "Ephemeral" and "Black Hole," which garnered attention and acclaim. The band consisted of Gene Resler as the vocalist, Tony Tecumseh on guitar, Ron George on bass, Larry Alexander on drums and Roger Swanson on keyboards. In 1968, they released a self-titled album under the MTA label, which was later reissued by Sundazed Records in 1995. The album, produced by Larry Goldberg and Leo Kulka (also known as Leo De Gar Kulka, a frequent presence at Golden Gate studios in San Francisco), showcases a blend of soft pop accompanied by a distinct organ accompaniment and memorable melodies. Within the album, certain tracks such as "Susie's Gone," "It's A Wonder," and "Afternoon" embrace a noticeably psychedelic quality.
4. Afterglow is a Christian musical duo from Pleasant Grove, Utah. The duo consists of Joel McCausland and Kevin Peay. Their musical journey began during their junior year in high school, captivating audiences at school assemblies, community events, and local fairs. Their talent led them to present LDS firesides and concerts across the United States prior to their mission trips to Japan and St. Louis in 1980.
In 1984, AFTERGLOW caught the attention of Deseret Book, signing a recording contract with the renowned company. Since then, they have released 17 albums through Deseret Book, five of which were recorded in England with the esteemed London Philharmonic Orchestra. Among their notable works are albums such as "A More Perfect Light," "How Great Thou Art" and "Love at Home". They have released two love songs themed albums as well as two country albums produced in Nashville called "Close to Home" and "No Love Lost."
Over the years, Joel and Kevin have toured the United States, Canada, England, Japan, and Brazil. Recently, AFTERGLOW returned with their latest release, "Mercyville", featuring a collection of original songs written to celebrate the joys and challenges of life. The album's messages revolve around themes such as serving others, coping with loss, experiencing joy, and navigating life's trials.
5. AFTERGLOW was a five-piece metalcore band hailing from Tokyo, Japan. The band was formed in March 2016 and consisted of vocalist keito, guitarists fuji and nori, bassist Ryo and drummer Yuichiro. They gained recognition for their energetic and powerful sound, combining elements of metalcore with emotional hardcore and other genres.
In July 2016, AFTERGLOW released their debut single, "Atlas," for free. Following the release of more music, the band embarked on a series of tours across Japan. However, in June 2017, vocalist hum, bassist NORA, and drummer 荒谷 decided to part ways with the band, leading to AFTERGLOW's temporary hiatus. The departure of these three members marked a significant change for the group, and they took a break from their activities for approximately nine months.
In March 2018, AFTERGLOW regrouped and welcomed vocalist keito, bassist Ryo, and drummer Yuichiro as new members. With this refreshed lineup, they resumed their activities, primarily focusing on performances in Tokyo and its surrounding areas. As of now, it appears that AFTERGLOW may have disbanded in 2021.
6. Afterglow is a five-piece band hailing from Marseille, France. The band consists of Freud Chaudeaux as the lead vocalist, Reno Ferré on lead guitar, François Festy on keyboards and vocals, Claude Figge on congas, and Karim Abdelali on drums. Their musical style combines elements from classic hard rock acts like Saga and Rush, as well as contemporary neo-progressive bands such as Pendragon and IQ.
7. Afterglow was a shoegaze band hailing from Melbourne, Australia. They released a 7" for the Summershine label in 1992, followed by a couple of EPs. The band's singer and guitarist, Greg, later joined the band Snout. Between 1992 and 1994, Afterglow released two EPs and one 7", but they did not release a full album.

信じた分の夢が never (yes!) Mind (yes!)
On your mark, get set, go!
"Get ready?" 歌声高く沸騰させて strike up the band!
End (yes!) 希望となる

それは絶対的な仲間のキズナ
