Sabbihis ma rabbikal a'laa
Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High.

Alladzii khalaqa fa sawwaa
He who created and proportioned.

Wal ladzii qaddara fa hadaa
And He who destined and guided.

Wal ladzii akhrajal mar'aa
And He who brought out the pasture.

Fa ja'alahuu ghutsaa-an ahwaa
Then made it dried up, dust-colored.

Sanuqri-uka fa laa tansa
We will make you recite, so you will not forget.

Illa maa syaa-allaah inaahuu ya'lamul jahra wamaa yakhfaa
Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.

Wa nuyassiruka lil yusraa
And We will ease you toward ease.

Fa dzakkir in nafa'atidz dzikraa
So remind, if the reminder should benefit.

Sayadzdzakaru may yakhsyaa
He who fears will be reminded.

Wa yatajannabuhal asyqaa
But the wretched one will avoid it.

Alladzii yashlan naaral kubraa
He who will enter and burn in the greatest Fire.

Tsumma laa yamuutu fiiha walaa yahyaa
Neither dying therein nor living.

Qad aflaha man tazakkaa
He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself.

Wa dzakaras ma rabbihii fashallaa
And praises the name of his Lord and prays.

Bal tu tsiruunal hayaatad dunyaa
But you prefer the worldly life,

Wal aakhiratu khairuw wa abqaa
While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.

Inna haadzaa lafish shuhufil uulaa
Indeed, this is in the former scriptures,

Shuhufi Ibraahiima wa Muusaa.
The scriptures of Abraham and Moses.
