Rami (vocal) and Yoshi (guitar) first got together in Osaka, Japan in June 2008.
The two then started playing shows around the Kansai area.
In January 2009, Toki (guitar) joined the band.
That November, the band made their first recording as Aldious,
a four song EP titled "Dear Slave", which they self-released to great success,
selling out at metal record shops everywhere.
In January 2010, Aruto (drums) joined the group,
followed by original member Sawa (bass) in March, which completes the current lineup.
At the same time the band formed their own label, "Bright Star Records".
The band signed a contract with Spinning Inc. as the label's first Japanese artist.
The band released their debut single "Defended Desire" in July 2010.
In June 2012, Rami (vocals) left the band due to health concerns. Then in August 2012, it was announced the KERA model Re:NO would be the new vocalist for the band.
In September 2014, Aruto (drums) announced that she would leave the band and the music industry in pursue of a married life. She said that she had a hard time balancing both being in an active band and taking care of her family. She officially left in November the same year.
In April 19th, 2015, new drummer Marina was announced. They also announced that they would leave their parent label "Spinning Inc".
After signing with new label "Village Again Association", they released the single "Die for You / Dearly / Believe Myself" in July 8th, 2015, which came in three different versions. A full album, "Radiant A", followed in December 2nd, 2015. It's their first album which skipped the gimmick of naming their releases with words starting with the letter "D".

The song Confusion by Aldious reflects on the confusion caused by the inner demons and scars of the past that plague the singer. The first verse talks about someone pointing a blade towards the singer on a rough road. Despite the heightening emotions, the path towards an open and alternate world is revealed. Moving on, the chorus expresses the singer's turmoil as she has finally reached her destination. Her memories of past misdeeds make her feel suffocated with pain while the dark side fades away, and the light side led her down the path with no regrets. The singer is led down a glamorous path while her heart is slowly being murdered without her realization. She becomes a sacrifice and is sucked into the margins, overcome by the ecstasy of death. At the end of the chorus, the lyrics explain that the feelings of negativity and regret are nothing more than a mirage.
In the second verse, the singer's mind is filled with shock and trauma, and she feels as if she is lost in a world where she doesn't belong. Amidst this confusion, she chooses to awaken from her dreams and focus on understanding her emotions to move forward. The bridge talks about embracing the fault of the past and the power to change the force of errors. It signifies how the singer's past experiences have helped her become who she is today.
