Soon after winning Idol he released the single "A little too perfect", which quickly sold to platinum. Aleksander's debut album was titled "Coming Home: The Album" and was released in October 2006 by Sony/BMG. The album was produced by Your Favourite Music and mastered in the legendary Abbey Road studios. It was a success in Norway and also in Japan, where Aleksander toured extensively.

Aleksander Denstad With recently released a new single called "What's the story", and his second album is expected sometime in late fall 2009.
