Two years and two new members later, the 5 piece band is reaching the peak of their creativity and punishing crowds with their brutal, yet melodic live act. Yeugene Barokha provides the lead vocals and tickles the ivories of the keyboard, Jeff Brown and Roger duel on the axes, Dan Hetu lays down the powerfully tight bass lines, and Bobby Malice bangs out the beats with utter abandon. Combining all these elements results in something much greater than just the sum of its parts. Alice Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
How do you get to Wonderland
Over the hill or underland
Or just behind a tree
When clouds go rolling by
They roll away and leave the sky
Where is the land behind the eye
Where can you see
Where do the stars go
Where is the crescent moon
They must be somewhere in the sunny afternoon
Alice in Wonderland
Where is the path to Wonderland
Over the hill or here or there
I wonder where
The lyrics of "Alice in Wonderland" convey a sense of curiosity and wonderment as the singer, Alice, seeks to find her way to the enchanting world of Wonderland. The opening lines pose a series of questions, asking how one can reach this fantastical place. The use of "over the hill or underland" suggests that Wonderland exists in an alternate dimension or reality, emphasizing the magical and mysterious nature of the land.
The song continues with an exploration of the unseen aspects of the world, with the mention of clouds rolling by and leaving the sky. This imagery symbolizes how sometimes things that seem solid and visible can disappear or transform into something else entirely. The line "Where is the land behind the eye, people cannot see" implies that Wonderland lies within the imagination and dreams, and that it cannot be accessed through conventional means. It speaks to the importance of looking beyond what is immediately visible and embracing the power of imagination.

This is my first time watching this and I'm 19 minutes in, I love this! The set designs so far are stunning and they have Gene, Whoopi and Martin Short in this! I love how early on, I was able to catch on that during the party, you could figure out which guest would be which Wonderlandian! (Stay tuned, I'll be talking ab this while I watch)
* ugh! I love the animatronic costumed White Rabbit so much!! His looks and mechanics scratch my brain in the best way.
* OH MY GODS! HIS HOUSE IS A POP- UP BOOK! DOES THIS MEAN THAT MOST WONDERLANDIANS LIVE WITHIN BOOKS!? (I love the little dimming in the background to represent she's no longer in the library but now in a different world)
* How did Alice not notice that her reflection was not moving as she was??
* As much as I love the falling gag, is that actor okay? That's a lot of edge to be hitting/falling on! And that animatronic head! Is it padded enough for multiple falls?
* Why won't he just move from the frikin glass?? He keeps falling and there's so much glass around, he could get stuck with a few pieces!!
* I can't believe they got Bill doin the climbin' when I know very well that other guy could do it. He's been pulling Fredrick up all those times without a problem.
* 27:49 Don't look at us! You're the one still standing there instead of MOVING OUT THE WAY!
* ALICE!! I KNOW YOU SAID NOT THE CHIMNEY BUT MISS MAM!! YOU AIN'T HAD TO KICK HIM!!
* So within this Wonderland, it's not the chunks of food but the types that can make you small? Either that or the fact that she ate the whole thing made her shrink.
* She picked up the stick, my first idea was to throw it like fetch but then as she went outside, I thought she was gonna fight the dog with said stick TwT I legit went " Yeah cuz fighting a giant dog with a stick is gonna work! "
* I love The Caterpillar's design! Especially the light up bubbles on his outfit and body.
* I think the guy who's sitting is a lesson: Sometimes, people aren't going to be of any help and you're going to have to do things on your own.
* Aw hell...why they do Whoopi like that!? TTwTT
* Dang ..that baby looks like Baby Herman.
* Aw nah, this chicks are crazy...and commit child endangerment... And child abuse...
* How is she floating around!??
* I just love how Alice is just so okay with the fact that the BABY turned into a PIG
* I wish instead of a CGI face all the time, they'd give Whoopi a Cats type outfit! Not skin tight but a nice fluff cat suit... I dunno, it just makes me think she'd be less...ughh.
* Aw hell...why they do Martin like that!? TwT
* Damn, these animatronic heads are fantastic!!
* Martin kills the role of the hatter fr fr.

I feel like people don’t talk about this version of Alice in Wonderland enough. It’s close to the books, it looks great, and it’s got a hell of a cast. Hopefully more people discover it while it’s here on YouTube
@JesseBadut14
I am so confused about this movie
@JustaGuy_Gaming
@@JesseBadut14 To be fair it captures the madness of the source material pretty well and several of the casting is amazing. I will say it doesn't flow together as good as some others though. If nothing else Whoopie as the Cheshire cat seems a bit off, and not a fan of the girl who played Alice.
But over all I still liked this, it did many interesting things differently. Which was a big step post Disney version. My absolute favorite version though probably be the American McGee's Alice version from the PC game.
@JesseBadut14
@@JustaGuy_Gaming In my opinion, I have never read the book or watched it. It's so interesting and confusing somewhat.

Mad Hatter to Alice:
"I see you take 1% milk in your tea. Is that 'cause you think you're fat? 'Cause you're not. You could totally be taking whole if you wanted to."
