Their debut album, All Saints, was released in 1997 with the first single "I Know Where It's At" reaching #4 on the UK charts. The next single, "Never Ever", launched All Saints as stars, selling over two million copies in the United Kingdom also. They later went on to release their second full length studio album, Saints & Sinners in 2000.
The band scored a total of five #1 singles. They split acrimoniously in 2001 after much speculation and rumour. Nicole and Natalie went on to form the duo Appleton, whilst Melanie and Shaznay have also gone on to enjoy (moderate) solo success.
On January 24, 2006 it was announced that the band had reformed. All Saints had signed a deal with Parlophone Records and their comeback single for the label, 'Rock Steady' was a considerable commercial success, charting at number 2. However, 'Studio 1', their third album peaked at a disappointing number 40 in the UK chart.
A further single - 'Chick Fit' - was released via download only, and the group left Parlophone shortly after in 2009.
In November 2013, it was announced that the group would be reforming to support the Backstreet Boys for five dates across the UK and Ireland in 2014.
"We are really looking forward to performing together as special guests of the Backstreet Boys," the group said in a statement.
All Saints will released their fourth studio album entitled Red Flag on 8 April 2016. The lead single from the album, "One Strike", was released on 26 February 2016.

And now that I'm here I know you can't stand
The waiting, boy
Let's say no more games, no messin' with the mind
Always room for change, let's give it one more try
Come on, let's give it a try
Look in my eyes rock steady and I'll promise you more
I got my heart back baby and it's skippin' a beat
I got my ass in check check and now I'm ready to be
If you're good to go I'm right here fot the takin' (ooh, take it, take it, take it)
Don't cross the line I'll promise you no fakin' boy (no, no, no, no)
It's all understood, no messin' with the rules (the rules, the rules)
If I let you go, boy I would be a fool
What kind of girl wants to be a fool
I got my bags packed baby and I'm ready to go
Look in my eyes rock steady and I'll promise you more
I got my heart back baby and it's skippin' a beat
I got my ass in check check and now I'm ready to be
Tell me why we act so stupid with games we're playing (ooooh)
Life is so cool when we're heading towards the same thing
You and I work best with love instead of the fighting (ooooh)
Let's get together forever boy, no more hiding
I got my bags packed baby and I'm ready to go
Look in my eyes rock steady and I'll promise you more
I got my heart back baby and it's skippin' a beat
I got my ass in check check and now I'm ready to be
I got my bags packed baby and I'm ready to go
Look in my eyes rock steady and I'll promise you more
I got my heart back baby and it's skippin' a beat
I got my ass in check check and now I'm ready to be
In All Saints's song Rock Steady, the lyrics express a sense of determination and readiness to start a new chapter in a romantic relationship. The singer suggests that they have been on the run for years, but now they are ready to settle down and give the relationship one more try. The singer urges their partner to stop playing games and wasting time, as there is always room for change. The chorus emphasizes this readiness to start anew, with the singer declaring that their bags are packed, their heart is racing, and they are ready to go.
The second verse highlights the struggles that come with playing games and not being truthful in a relationship. The singer notes that there is no need to mess with the rules or pretend to be someone they are not. If the relationship is meant to work, there should be no need for games or hiding. The chorus is repeated again, emphasizing the singer's readiness to start over and promising more if their partner is willing to give it a try.
Overall, Rock Steady is a song about being tired of games and uncertainty in a relationship and deciding to take a leap of faith to start anew. The lyrics encourage honesty, openness, and commitment to make the relationship work.
