The band members are all surfers and cover the city from the East Side (Mt. Washington) to way out West (Venice Beach) - and their sound reflects the geography of the city. The group consists of Miles Michaud, singer and guitarist, Pedrum Siadatian, electric guitar and vocals, Spencer Dunham, Electric Bass and vocals, and Matthew Correia, drums, percussion and vocals.
Since coming together as a band, they cut their teeth playing numerous California dates with groups like Entrance Band, Tyde, Tijuana Panthers, and the Growlers, and have garnered the approval of original UK Psych founding-father Patrick Campbell-Lyons (Nirvana). In the Los Angeles musical community, they gained a reputation as a laid-back, grooving band with strong ties to the authentically LA-centric sounds of bands like the Byrds, Love, and early Captain Beefheart.
The group released their third album, Calico Review, on September 9, 2016. On November 3, 2017, the band released the EP Covers #1. The EP consists of four covers of songs by George Harrison, Television, Kathy Heideman, and Further. In October 2019, the band released the album LAHS.

I cannot lie
Allah-Las Lyrics
We're the throng.
Glorious inside.
We are alive.
We cannot die.
We're the throng.
So much love inside.
Cause we are the Life.
We cannot die.
Make me shut up.
Shoot the impulse.
You can think you're God.
Think you're God.
We cannot die.
I’ll close my mouth,
But just for a while.
Tell us who we are.
Turn the hope into black.
We're still alive.
We cannot die.
Make me blind.
Make me scars.
Stop the sound.
Make me feel resigned.
I cannot die.
I can’t deny
That you get me wild.
You’ll take your time
But I’ll come back each time.
I'm still alive.
I cannot die.
Make me come here for nothing.
Change the lyrics.
Make me sleep juste a bit.
I’ll still be alive.
I will never die.
Come and change the meaning.
Push the limits.
Make me weep,
Crawl on my knees.
I’ll still be alive.
I cannot die.
I am the throng.
Anger inside.
But I am so alive.
I cannot die.
I am the throng.
Burning inside.
But I am here, now.
I cannot die.
You can say it's agressive,
A bit too offensive,
Look how we smile!
You can charge,
We're still alive.
We cannot die.
I know it's impressive,
Fucking impressive,
But where’s your child?
Watch your guys.
We cannot die.
Break my heart,
A thousand times.
Stubborn is my mind,
For I was born to shine,
Not to die.
Look into my eyes.
Tears know how to dry.
I can fall on the ground.
This ground is mine, is fucking mine.
I cannot die.
For I am eternal, fucking eternal.
I can dance with stars.
And I feel alive, feel so alive.
I cannot die.
For I am more than a soul.
When I touch the sky,
I feel alive.
I cannot die.
Cause I dance for the Forever.
I am the Together.
I'm all the Others,
Fragile and sad.
I am fine.
Mum, I am fine.
The greatest battle.
Tell me you're proud.
With me in your arms...
