i feel alive
Alondra Bentley Lyrics

So go back to sleep.
All this blue sky shining wild,
Makes it hard to speak.
I looked down at the street
But I just couldn't keep my eyes
Looking at the sky
With the birds flying high,
So why it hearts...
I feel the same love as today
I'm at you today
Makes in you from then...
I'm in love with everything that
I can see around.
I remember picking flowers
All of this town.
It was so beautiful
Now and then I reckon
I can just see it all
As if it was yesterday...
And the past
Is supposed to the last
Time I saw you today
Makes me wanna say:
I FEEL ALIVE
The lyrics to Alondra Bentley's song "I feel alive" speak about experiencing the beauty of the world around us and learning to appreciate it. The opening line, "Understanding takes a while, so go back to sleep," suggests that at times we struggle to comprehend the world around us and it can be overwhelming. The next line, "All this blue sky shining wild, makes it hard to speak," alludes to the beauty of nature and how it can render us speechless.
The singer then reflects on a moment where she was observing the birds in the sky and how it made her feel happy. However, she wonders why it also causes pain. The song then moves into a nostalgic memory of the singer picking flowers in her town and how beautiful it was. The line "Now and then I reckon, I can just see it all as if it was yesterday," suggests that the memory is still vivid in her mind.
The last lines, "And the past is supposed to the last time I saw you today, makes me wanna say: I FEEL ALIVE," seem to suggest that the memory of the town and its beauty stirs up feelings of being alive in the present moment.
Overall, the song seems to highlight the importance of mindfulness and appreciating the beauty around us, even in difficult times.
