Amiture’s sound exists in the vast in-betweens of Captain Beefheart, Suicide, Nine Inch Nails, the blues and techno. It nods to contemporary club, dance, & sound music while paying homage to melody and lyricism- never restricted to any genre but always committing to a continuous thread of experimentation and big themes of life, death, sex and freedom. The duo taught themselves Ableton, have pushed their curiosities to their limits and have fleshed out their future sound with a series of remixes and B-Sides released in the summer and fall of 2022.

I don’t try
I feel the lady call backwards at night
I am lying
I am lying down
I am lonesome
But I don’t feel left out
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
I see myself alive
I see myself alone
Baby you’re late
Baby you’re late
Oh why didn’t I go that day
Oh no
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
Tried to regret it
Mother don’t remember life
Oh when you rattle
Oh when you die
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
I’m ready now
Oh god forgive me
