I can't recall our past or what we used to be, it feels like it was in a different place entirely.

We spun glitter balls and lover's dance, the flowers bloomed and time collapsed.
We used to dance together under the disco ball, and it felt like time stood still while the flowers bloomed around us.

And I'm trapped within the cloud of bliss, in control yet powerless.
I feel both overwhelmed and content, as though I'm in a haze and have no choice but to surrender to it.

Within my head I hear a reverberation, the sound of Bowie on a jukebox.
I have David Bowie's music playing in my head, and it feels like it's reverberating throughout my whole being.

And who could blame us for wanting to talk with the gods?
It's natural to want to communicate with something greater than us.

The ringing bells of flooded cathedrals, will sound for you.
The sounds of church bells can be hauntingly beautiful and powerful, and they seem to be calling out to me.

And moments lost in time like tears in rain, left me clutching photographs from the ramparts of a sleepy coastal citadel in Spain, I saluted you.
Memories that have slipped away over time feel like tears in the rain, and I'm left holding onto pictures from a castle in Spain, remembering someone dear.

Under faraway moons. Human flotsam dream and sleeping bags. Big, where the ocean is blue, it's a perfect place to find yourself.
Under the distant moons, there are people aimlessly wandering and sleeping among their belongings near a big, blue ocean, and it feels like an ideal place to find inner peace.

So I'm looking for freaks to burn out stars with. Searching for misfits to get lost with. Waiting for souls to find my own with. Holding out for strangers whom I can dream with. And I'll be digging for friends to lose my mind with.
