As a music and theater student at Syracuse University, Anadara took advantage of the resources available to her, taking classes in Music Theory, Composition, and Music History during the day, and performing her own music to enthusiastic listeners in clubs across the city at night. Through frequent performances in Syracuse clubs such as Styleen's Rhythm Palace, The Stoop, No Borders No Boundaries, and Happy Endings, as well as solo radio presence (WAQX, WTKW, WAER) Anadara garnered sufficient critical and popular acclaim to win the area's highest musical honor, a SAMMY (Syracuse Area Music) Award nomination for Best New Artist.
While in Syracuse, Anadara also began working her way into the San Diego music scene, performing at California venues such as 'Canes, Blind Melon's and Brick By Brick. Her talents were soon realized by 92.5FM, a San Diego radio station that included Anadara's sunny salute to her home state, "California", on their compilation CD THE LOCAL FIX.
Anadara's music has also been sought after for several Cds released by SUR (Syracuse University Recordings). NO COVER BEFORE NINE, a collection of jazz influenced music, included her beatiful ballad "Next Time Around". Another showcase for exceptional S.U. musical talent, SIX STRING CIRCUS, featured performances of two more of Anadara's songs "California" and "Poisoned by You".
Following her departure from the college scene, Anadara set her sights on New York City, in order to pursue a career in music. She has performed at The Bitter End, a cradle of independent music in the heart of New York's Greenwich Village, and continues to study the art of songwriting through the National Academy of Popular Music.
To the One

Who hung the stars up in the sky
Then painted all the colors in our eyes
Whose Spirit gives us life
To the One
Who counts each grain of desert sand
Holds the constellations in His hand
We give our thanks, we give our praise
We would not breathe but for Your grace
We give our hearts, we give our souls
To the One who takes our brokenness
And makes us whole
To the One
To the One
Who made the moon to pull the tide
Calls us His beloved and His bride
We lift our praises high
To the One
Who became broken bread
And poured out wine
Who was and is and will be for all time
Oh, come be glorified
We bow our heads in reverence
For all that You have done
And we sing our praise, night and day
To the One
Anadara's song "To the One" is a powerful anthem of praise and thanksgiving to God. The lyrics describe God as the creator and sustainer of the universe, who has painted the colors in our eyes and holds the constellations in His hand. He is fully God and fully man, and His spirit gives us life.
The lyrics also speak of our gratitude and worship towards God for all that He has done for us. We acknowledge that we would not even be able to breathe without His grace, and we give Him our hearts and souls. We recognize that God takes our brokenness and makes us whole, and we lift our praises high to Him.
The second half of the song focuses on Jesus, who is described as the One who became broken bread and poured out wine. He was and is and will be for all time, and we are called to glorify Him. We bow our heads in reverence for all that Jesus has done for us, and we sing our praises to Him day and night.
Overall, "To the One" is a powerful worship song that reminds us of the greatness of God and the sacrifice of Jesus. It calls us to give thanks and praise to God, and to bow our hearts in reverence before Him.
