Only Time
Ancient.City Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Taking it in is taking time
I was your one but you changed your mind
How was I supposed to know that you weren't fine?
You walked around and smiled and kept everthing inside
Where is your heart?
Where did we go?
Time heals this now but time moves too slow when you're alone
I've still got faith in you and I
It's hard to accept this as goodbye
You laid this all upon me with no clear reason why
It breaks my heart to lose you
I just want you to want to try
Where is your your heart?
Why did you go?
I love more than you will ever know
You told me we'd get married...
But you changed and I have to let go
I forgot how to be alone

This fear runs deep in my bones
Off into the great unknown with my heart sinking like a stone

Tips if/when your in an ancient city:

Always bring wool with you (at least 2 stacks)

Bring night vision potions since they are more effective than torches

Cover the shriekers with wool since they can’t “scream” if they are fully covered with wool around them

If you spawn the warden run away from it since when it’s spawning it can’t smell you and probably kill you

Bring something to throw like arrows/eggs or snowballs and only throw them if u actually need to.the warden will dispawn in 60 seconds if there’s no more vibration

Hope this helps :>

You don’t need to crouch on the wall also, if you surround wall around Shrieker or sensor, it will not detect noise

@mryerly858

Try making this into a series😁😁

@Evan-xu3to

You can use wool to block off sounds, so when you break a shreaker near others surround one in wool then break it

@justasimpleguy5847

does placing blocks not set off the shrieker tho?

@overtheatlas

@Just a SIMPle Guy wool doesn't

@tippership

The thing you forgot to say that's really really really important above even that- this apparently works even with shriekers NEXT to each other, wool will stop them from telling the one next to it even though you literally could NOT put wool between them because they're next to each other
