Quem conhece a gaita já sabe quem tá chegando...
quem conhece a gaita já sabe quem tá chegando...
Jú...lio...

papagaio pisca o olho
cavalo mexe a crina
a vaca vem cantando
e olha o có có có có có começando

tá na hora do cocoricó
ta na hora do Julio tocar tocar tocar tocar

tá na hora do cocoricó
ta na hora da turma cantar cantar cantar

cocori muuuu, cocori Hiiiiii
cocó rupaco paco paco paco
có có có có có có có có

tá na hora do cocoricó
ta na hora da turma do Júlio
o Júlio na gaita
e a bicharada no vocal:

fazendo rock rural
Cococoricó...

o Júlio na gaita

e a bicharada no có có coral
Cocoricó... cocoricó...

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of André Abujamra/Helio Ziskind/Luiz Macedo's song Abertura speak in a playful manner of the arrival of the musician Júlio, who is known for playing the harmonica. The opening lines repeat that those who know the instrument would recognize that Júlio is arriving. The following lines describe the animals reacting to Júlio's arrival with the parrot winking, the horse shaking its mane, and the cow singing. This then introduces the sound of the rooster's crowing, which signals the beginning of the performance.

The rest of the lyrics are a quirky representation of a rural rock show led by Júlio's harmonica playing. The lyrics repeat the phrase "tá na hora do cocoricó," which translates to "it's time for the crowing," signifying that the show is about to start. The group then sings in the chorus, making animal sounds like "cocori muuuu" and "cocó rupaco paco paco paco" while also repeating the phrase "có có có có có có có." The lyrics suggest that Júlio plays his harmonica while the animals sing as backup, creating a rural rock or rock in the countryside sound. This song's playful themes and catchy rhythms make it a popular opening piece for various Brazilian musical shows.

Not gonna lie, I really do appreciate the efforts that Tectoy have gone through to make their own games exclusively for the Brazilian market. Some sucked, yeah, but there were others that were kind of decent & others like their Genesis port of Duke Nukem 3D were quite impressive. Show Do Milhao Volumes 1 & 2 were also impressive sound wise.
