Floating
André Maçaneiro Lyrics

In this river of memories
I see your face everywhere
As the river goes down again
And it's beautiful
To listen to the water sound
It makes me dive into you
The end of the line
And where do we go now?
Cuz we're falling apart
And now one can bring you down
But you
Drowning
I'm distracting in a piece of paper
I write your name everywhere
Till there's no more space to go
Healing
Now we're falling in love everyday
And now we are better I know
Cuz there's happiness everywhere
The end of the line
And where do we go now?
And we're falling apart
And no one can can bring you down
But you
The world is yours
Try your best
There's happiness everywhere
The world is yours
Try your best
Cuz there's happiness everywhere
The song "Floating" by André Maçaneiro is a beautiful ballad that explores themes of love, memories, and healing. The opening verse talks about being lost in a river of memories where the singer keeps seeing the face of their loved one everywhere. The river going down symbolizes the passage of time and how memories fade away with it. The chorus talks about the beauty of the sound of water and how it makes the singer feel closer to their loved one, taking them away from their current reality.
The second verse talks about the singer being in a state of distraction while thinking about their loved one. They write their name everywhere, trying to hold on to their memories. However, the next lines suggest that the singer is slowly healing and falling in love again. They acknowledge that they are now better and that there is happiness everywhere.
The song ends with the repeated refrain of "The world is yours, try your best, there's happiness everywhere." It suggests a sense of hope and optimism for the future, despite the pain of the past. Overall, the song captures the complex emotions of love and loss, and the struggle to move on.
