He is known for his unique progressive house productions on the Anjunadeep and Anjunabeats labels, also incorporating elements of idm, progressive breaks and other genres. He is also known for collaborations with Norwegian producer Boom Jinx (as Boom Jinx & Andrew Bayer), BT, and the now inactive progressive trance group Signalrunners with Alan Nimmo. Bayer has also collaborated with fellow Berklee College Of Music attendants Matt Lange and Kerry Leva.

His debut artist album "It's Artificial" was released on 25th July 2011 on Anjunabeats. Two tracks - Counting The Points and From The Earth - have subsequently been released as singles.

Andrew's second artist album "If It Were You, We'd Never Leave", featuring the singles Lose Sight and Gaff's Eulogy was released in 2013 on Anjunabeats accompanied by huge critical acclaim.

Ofcourse there's amazing electronic music that isnt trance, but I think Anjunadeep was made for more deep and mellow styles of music, while Anjunabeats is for the more upbeat and dancey type of tracks.

This track is neither. Not trance, not house. It's like.....different. Glitch-hop/glitch-trance esque I think Andrew Bayer may have called it in an interview? It definitely is experimental and breaks some boundaries, which I guess is what he was going for.

Actually, Anjunadeep is for house music and other music that is not segregated into mainstream trance. Anjunabeats is pure trance. Jaytech shifted from Anjunadeep (which focuses on house) into Anjunabeats cause he wanted to focus more on his trance music growth.

and it clearly isn't house, so why would it be on Anjunadeep? But I don't think Above & Beyond intend Anjunabeats to just release trance, there are many forms of electronic music which are amazing which don't come under the umbrella of "trance".
