Hard to find this version of the lyrics so here it is:
Nighttime sharpens, heightens each sensation
Darkness wakes and stirs imagination
Silently the senses abandoned their defenses
Helpless to resist the notes I write
For I compose the music of the night
Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendor
Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender
Hearing is believing
Music is deceiving
Hard as lightning, soft as candlelight
Dare you trust the music of the night?
Close your eyes for your eyes will only tell the truth
And the truth isn’t what you want to see
In the dark it is easy to pretend
That the truth is what it ought to be
Softly, deftly, music shall caress you
Hear it, feel it, secretly possess you
Open up your mind
Let your fantasies unwind
In this darkness which you know you cannot fight
The darkness of the music of the night
Close your eyes
Start a journey through a strange new world
Leave all thoughts of the world you knew before
Close your eyes and let music set you free
Only then can you belong to me
Floating, falling, sweet intoxication
Touch me, trust me, savor each sensation
Let the dream begin, let your darkest side give in
To the power of the music that I write
The power of the music of the night
You alone can make this song take flight
Help me make the music of the night

Nobody sings "The Music of the Night" quite like Michael Crawford does. It's phenomenal and heartfelt.
@harlequinhead2008
A thousand times YES!!! He captures every emotion in just this one song - he owns the one!
@sophiezadpoerozny4972
Fr I mostly listen to the original more than any other ones he's voice is so beautiful and he just fits the part perfectly
@simplystreeptacular
@Angel Nunn The way Ramin sings it makes me swoon. But Michael Crawford could sing me straight into bed with this song. His voice just has this insanely sensual, seductive quality I've never yet heard another actor quite match.

@Angel Nunn I could’nt care less about The Phantom of the Opera, no actor caught my attention, I fell a sleep during the movie - but then I saw Ramin Karimloo play the phantom on my telly. Suddenly I payed intense attention. Outstanding Singer, brilliant actor. Noone above or even beside Ramin Karimloo in my opinion!

More like mischevious to me. Irresistible. Like a travelling circus master of ceremony.
