All Night
Andrew T Lyrics

Buzzing, got us feeling right
I could do this all night
Fantasize, staring at the sunlight
Bouncing off of your thighs
I could do this all night
(All night)
So tell me when you wanna get away from here
The looks that you've been giving, can't no one save me
Yeah, can't no one save me, I won't
Try to explain it, I won't
Take you for granted, I won't
(No I won't)
(Cause you remind of the)
Summertime, sippin on that red wine
Buzzing, got us feeling right
I could do this all night
And your eyes, tell me what's on your mind
I hope that you're feeling right
Cause I could do this all night
(All night)
(Yea I could do this)
All night
(Yea I could do this)
All night
Yea I could do this all night, all night
(All night)
(All night)
All night, baby say you're all mine
Leave our friends, they'll be fine
Say I have you all night
All night, baby say you're all mine
Leave our friends, they'll be fine
Say I have you all night
Summertime, sippin on that red wine
Buzzing, got us feeling right
I could do this all night
I'm fantasizing, staring at the sunlight
Bouncing off of your thighs
I could do this all night
All night
And your eyes, tell me what's on your mind
I hope that you're feeling right
Cause I could do this all night, all night
The song "One Blessed Night" by Andrew T. Miller is a romantic and playful tune about a woman who is unable to sleep because she is so full of excitement from dancing with someone special. In the first verse, the singer is unable to go to bed and sleep because her head is too light and she is too happy to settle down. She sings about how she could have danced all night with this special person and how even though she has never done some of the things they did before, she still wants to do more. The second verse is a back-and-forth between the singer and someone who is trying to convince her to go to sleep. She is reluctant to do so, still caught up in the joy of dancing, but eventually agrees.
The lyrics to "One Blessed Night" capture the sense of unbridled joy that comes from being in the moment with someone you care about. The singer's desire to keep dancing and experiencing new things with this person seems almost childlike in its exuberance. At the same time, the interjections from the other person serve as a reminder that life goes on, and that even the most enjoyable experiences have to come to an end eventually.

Bed, bed! I couldn't go to bed
I'm wide awake and even though it's time to sleep, I can't seem to drift off
My head's too light to try to set it down
I feel as if my thoughts are floating so much that it's hard to get them to slow down and let me rest
Sleep, sleep! I couldn't sleep tonight
Despite being exhausted, my mind is racing and keeping me up
Not for all the jewels in the crown
Even the most precious things in the world won't make me feel tired enough to sleep
I could have danced all night
I feel so lively and energized that I could keep dancing forever
And still have begged for more
Even after dancing for a long time, I wouldn't be satisfied - I'd want to keep going
I could have spread my wings
I feel as if I have the potential to do anything and everything, to soar and fly high
And done a thousand things
There are so many new experiences and activities that I feel capable of trying and accomplishing
I've never done before
All of those new things seem exciting and unexplored, and I'd love a chance to tackle them
I'll never know what made it so exciting
I'm not sure what exactly sparked this feeling of exuberance and exhilaration
Why all at once my heart took flight
But I know that all of a sudden, my whole being felt light and full of joy
I only know when he began to dance with me
Perhaps it was the person I was dancing with who helped create this feeling of rapture
I could have danced, danced, danced all night
Regardless of the why or how, I know with certainty that I could keep dancing for hours and hours

Half empty, half full
Cup runneth over
Horns of plenty, coffers full
We're starting over
Half empty, half full
Cup runneth over
Horns of plenty, coffers full
We're starting over
I write you a story
But it loses its thread
And all of my witnesses
Keep turning up, keep turning up dead
I paint you a picture
Of Pulaski at night
Come back to Chicago
City of, city of light
Come back to Chicago
I paint you a picture
But it never looks right
Cause I fill in the shadows
And block out the, I block out the light
I send you a postcard
It says, "Pulaski at night"
Greetings from Chicago
City of, city of light
Come back to Chicago
City of, city of light
Come back to Chicago
