Frosty the Snowman
Introducing the character Frosty, who is made of snow

Was a jolly happy soul
Frosty was a happy and cheerful being

With a corncob pipe and a button nose

Some people believe that Frosty is just a mythical character

He was made of snow

How he came to life one day

That old silk hat they found

He began to dance around
Frosty started dancing and moving around

Kids tell the tale to others

He could laugh and play
Frosty laughed and enjoyed himself just like any other person

Frosty was no different than you and I

Frosty, clumsy as he can be

See him lopping along
He made large strides as he walked

Off he goes on an icicle spree
He went on an adventure around icicles

With a happy song
While singing a cheerful tune

Knew the sun was hot that day
Frosty understood the sun would melt him

So he said, "Let's run, and we'll have some fun
He suggested they run and enjoy themselves while they still could

Now, before I melt away"
Before he melted away completely

Down to the village
Frosty led the group to the village

With a broomstick in his hand
He held a broomstick in his hand

Runnin' here and there
He ran around everywhere

All around the square
And circled around the town square

Sayin', "Catch me if you can"
Challenging them to catch him if they could

He led them down the streets of town
Frosty led everyone around town

Right to the traffic cop
And they ended up at a road crossing where a cop was stationed

And he only paused a moment
Frosty only stopped for a moment

When he heard him holler, "Stop!"
When the cop yelled at him to stop

Hmm, Frosty the Snowman
Musing about Frosty again

Had to hurry on his way
Frosty had to leave quickly

But he waved goodbye, sayin' "Don't you cry
He said goodbye but assured them not to worry

I'll be back again some day"
And promised to be back someday in the future

Describing the sound of Frosty's footsteps
