She studied classical music at Brown University in the States before going on to the London Centre of Contemporary Music in London where she developed her ability to write up-tempo pop songs, soft emotive ballads and darker songs, all of which weave a world of symbolism that reflect her own experiences.
Though she first released her music only five months ago, Angelika has played at major festivals in Greece: ΕΝ LEFKO FESTIVAL in June 2014, opening the lineup for Boy George and Simple Minds, the Vima FM Books Bazaar at the Garderns of Athens Music Hall, live at the Garden of the Numismatic Museum & at the Faust in October.
She has been well received by Greek radio and press and has given unplugged gigs on most major Greek radio stations, interviews on MTV, Mad TV – Greece’s biggest music television channel – and most important magazines, internet sites and newspapers.
“Telling Stories”, Angelika Dusk’s first EP, follows on from the success of her debut single “Love On Your Own Terms”. The songs on the EP have been produced by talented UK production team Red Triangle Her debut LP, due out in early 2015, will include further productions by Red Triangle, along with tracks produced by Ross Cullum.
