Evolve
Animassacre Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Dreams can be procured. They are our sign!
Waiting to be powered, but you must cross the line.
Human evolution, flung into a stall!
We must find a way - to continue to... Evolve

EVOLVE!
Every life is a problem to solve!
EVOLVE!
There is always a higher goal!
EVOLVE!
Every life is a problem to solve!
EVOLVE!
There is always a higher goal!

Life bears many gifts. And twice as much defeat!
The machines will demonstrate that we were never free!
Evolution proves your flesh has no more way to go!
Merge the veins with cables and show the world how to... Evolve

EVOLVE!
Every life is a problem to solve!
EVOLVE!
There is always a higher goal!
EVOLVE!
Every life is a problem to solve!
EVOLVE!
There is always a higher goal!

Cybernetic power. Technologic saints!
Stiffen your emotions. Pain can be abstained!
Life and death together! Nature locked the door.
We found a secret passage, our own way to evolve...

E-E-Volve! (x2)

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of "Evolve" by Animassacre talks about human evolution and how it has to continue. The song opens with the statement that dreams can be procured and that they are a sign that we must strive to achieve. We are told that human evolution has flung into a stall and that we must find a way to continue to evolve. The song emphasizes the importance of finding solutions to life's problems and that there is always a higher goal to attain. The repeated use of the word "evolve" suggests that it is a call to action for humans to evolve both physically and mentally.

The next stanza uses metaphors to express the complexities of life. Life is said to bear both gifts and defeat, and the machines that humans have created demonstrate that we were never free. According to the lyrics, evolution has proved that the human body has no more way to go, and the only way to continue is to merge our veins with cables to become cyborgs.

The last stanza suggests that the future of human evolution is technology, and that humans should stiffen their emotions to avoid pain. The lyrics suggest that life and death are inseparable, and that nature has locked the door but humans have found a secret passage to evolve. The repeated use of "e-e-volve" in the closing line of the song is a powerful call for humans to embrace technology and continue to evolve.

Why is it so hard to find good music like this in the States without having to download mp3's or import cd's. I hate pop music, it has really sucked any producers from bringing this here, they want the next pop princess who will make a sex tape. Any leads where I can get this whole album with remixes LEGALLY please. Thanks. An American who likes good music

I don't know exactly what happened in Sofia... Many amazing artists .... this track isn't even the best version, but I can't find the original mix, it is much better, not so much like an Acylum song...

society prevents this kind of music from emerging from this "shell" of hers. they do so to prevent extra violence in certain countries which I among allot of people think is bullshit. :D
