There's a monster in my bed

And its tangled in the web
The constant thoughts consuming one's mind like a tangled web.

Of a bunch of puppets on a string
Analogous to how the trolls' opinions control someone's thoughts and actions.

Try to get inside my head
Trolls try to manipulate and get into someone's headspace to make them feel vulnerable.

Judging every little thread
Every word, every action of someone is under scrutiny by the trolls.

Like the devils always listening
Metaphorically representing the trolls who are always ready to judge and point out mistakes.

When you fall asleep at night
The trolls' opinions continue to haunt someone even during their sleep.

They control what's in your mind
The constant pressure and negativity affect one's thinking and decisions.

Criticizing everything you do
The internet trolls' constant criticism and negativity affect someone's self-esteem and confidence.

I know it's a waste of time
Realizing the futility of engaging with trolls and their negative comments.

Pulling me left and right
Feeling conflicted between wanting to be oneself and trying to appease the trolls.

Trying to find the balance in the truth
Attempting to find a balance between being true to oneself and avoiding negative comments that trolls provoke.

Trying not to let go - let go

Feeling like a psycho - a weirdo

Trying to remain calm and not let the negative comments cause anxiety.

Realizing the insignificance of the trolls' opinions and not letting them cause real-life harm.

Just an alternate reality

Trying to be authentic and true to oneself despite negative comments and opinions.

Wishing to inspire and encourage others to be themselves and not let negativity control their lives.

Wishing to get more views and popularity to prove one's worth.

Focusing only on gaining popularity and not paying attention to authenticity and being true to oneself.
